So now I'm panicking because my N3DS was crazy stupid hot. When I first opened the 3ds, it showed Rune Factory 4 for like half a second before it just shut off. I took out the back plate and battery, only to find that the heat wasn't from the battery, but from the center of the bottom half, which I can only assume is the CPU or something. No one on the internet seems to know what the problem is, but it's common enough that there is a unanimous decision - Call Nintendo's support line. Luckily, I'm still under warranty.

I've heard nothing but beautiful praise for it, but have never played anything even remotely close to Harvest Moon. My brother swears by XSEED though so we got it anyway and it's been amazing.

So I got Rune Factory 4 for the 3ds because it was half off and it starts off with you on an airship, and two dialogue options. You either say something like "Oh man i'm flying high!" or "Oh jeez the ground is so fucking far away" Turns out this is how you decide if your character is a male or female - the confident option makes you male, and the scared option makes you female. Thing is, I'm fuckin terrified of heights, so I picked the scared option, saw that the game equated my fear with femininity, and then #triggered

IMO New Vegas was a better RPG than 3 or 4.   Obviously, 1 and 2 are much much better RPGs, but I really think Obsidian had it right with New Vegas.

Fucking christ programming is nuts My Operating Systems class has been going terribly for me (My two projects so far have received a 30/100 and 50/100) and now it's just like what I have the code do an extremely simple "Run function 1". It'll run function 1, then go on a rampage and suddenly decide to run function 2, 3, 4, and then try to find a non existent 5, and crash my computer.   FUCK

I've seen the recovered radar positioning - the jet was indeed over Turkish airspace, but went in a straight line through a little notch that turkey takes up. It was estimated that the pilot spent less than a minute in Turkish airspace before his straight line course took him out of Russian airspace again.
