That's just who he is.   Harry Potter isn't an asian hoodlum with a penchant for puns and dark humor, Walter White isn't a prissy black woman with sass, Sherlock Holmes isn't a trigender whateverthefuck. Changing Bond to be black is every bit as bad as changing Sokka to be ultra-serious for the Last Airbender movie. You don't fuck with an established characterization and pretend nothing has changed. You can mess with The Doctor because that's explained in his lore and background - he can do that, and is known for doing that a multitude of times.   Batman is Bruce Wayne. He was born into immense wealth and lost his parents early on. You don't fuck with that because then that's not Batman, that's your Original Character Do Not Steal.

DISASTER     I feel horrible now because I told bloody everyone to buy Dark Souls 2.

Dark Souls 2 is only loosely connected to Dark Souls 1. Watch the Dark Souls 1 prologue and you'll be almost entirely set.     IMO, the value is easily worth the $40 I paid for it. I've heard a rough rule that you should expect one hour of play for one dollar spent - I have 200 hours so far. Finished the game twice, didn't finish all the DLC worlds yet.   $15 is a steal.

I want Valkyria Chronicles but only 25% off...   BUT it's also a daily deal so there's a very small chance of it getting any lower.

I'm toying around with a White/Green deck that focuses on the Populate keyword, plus asstons of token generation and group +1/+1.   it is immediately apparent why mtg is so fun and interesting

I'm not all that sure. I think White holds my interest the most, but I'm not sure what other color synergies I'm looking for.

So thanks to Raz, I have sort of completed by crash course in MTG but one big looming question still remains: How do I get an idea for my deck(s)? Should I take an existing deck and just modify it? Should I poke around at random until I realize X card or Y mechanic is a truly amazing idea to base my deck around? I can figure my way around databases and such but it's hard to search up something if I don't even know what I'm looking for.

That is, to my knowledge, 3 out of 23 completed santaisms - Stamda, Simon, and technically Cactus.   Send the gifts whenever you want but I still think it'd be kinda cool to wait for christmas but if everyone else is going early idk

I'm still busying myself in HR7, 600 hours in. I just today finished a variant of Helios ZZZXZ armor that gives me Sharpness+1, Awaken, Evasion+1, HG Earplugs.   I desperately want to farm my Mizar's Asterism but I keep wanting to upgrade all of my weapons.

One thing I promised myself was that over my winter vacation, I'd give MTG a serious try with Cockatrice, and I am almost 90% sure I just set it up right, but I'm pretty damn lost on actually making a deck. I've touched MTG like twice because PAX gave starter packs, but that didn't require any deckbuilding whatsoever. The only other game I've played that comes close to MTG is Hearthstone, which is insanely simplified.   All I know is that I was a big Paladin player in Hearthstone, which if I remember correctly is mostly entirely White, with small hints of Blue. I personally would build around the Paladin's many buffs and the free minion to make good trades and secure board control.     teach me to magics pls
