A lot of it is muscle memory. I only know two combos which are no more than 4 attacks in a row.   Practice a lot with the training mode. One of the best training modes I've ever seen in any game ever.

If you download the Allstar match and go to ~5 minutes clock time, you can Takeover the match and play as Techies.   It's pathetically boring just testing him out since he's boring without enemy heroes.
