I've opened Steam Family Sharing with both of my best friends. Yes, you have to log in to each other's accounts.   How we did it was change our passwords to something temporary (we used 'gamespls'), and actually log into each other's accounts and enable it there. It works fine for my IRL friends because if they fuck anything up, I can go to their house and punch them. Over the internet, I'd suggest that only with the friends you KNOW won't screw anything up.

I miss my old weapons, but I love the new progression system. Much better than some rigged roulette, plus an actually sensible cash market that barely affects gameplay (Except Blute/EXP Boosters but those are commonplace in F2P games because they aren't much of a problem at all)   The humor still screams of brosephjockfootball'murica, but it's not the worst drawback.
