They can't even stick to their personas and avatars because they can be killed in the drop of a hat due a billion different contractual reasons and have to change into another model, hoping they can rebuild their audience (although recently a few were put on a fridge and not actually killed, but "soft retired" and will come back now and then just to get that sweet product placement).

We all know she will just change to another model (apparently she already had one) and will stay "not retired" only for promos and merch.

  2. Yakuza 0 is the best by far. Kiwami 1 is also pretty good, but its a bit empty and too full of fluff at the same time.

Kiwami 2 is good, but has a different fighting that I didn't enjoy as much.

3 is the weakest of the series, not because its a bad game, but because its the OLDEST available to play. All QoL updates and systems didn't exist.

4 and 5 are pretty good, but 5 drags along for way too long. 5 has a rather... weird story. Its almost entirely focused on Haruka, but has a great final boss.

6 isn't very good. The fighting system is a downgrade from 6, the story is rather bad, too much focus on Haruka again, the new city isn't as good. I finished it and won't ever revisit it.

7 is the RPG one and its good, if you like JRPGs. Drags a bit too long and some stuff requires you to grind way too much. Didn't like the ending.

Didn't play 8/Infinite Wealth, Judgment, Gaiden or Isshin to give a review.

  3. Honestly, the best time to play UT is long gone. I'd say that if you didn't play it the same day it released, you lost maybe 50% of the fun of the experience. The problem is that there are too many references and downright massive spoilers that get thrown left and right without care.

Every time I saw someone play it and their first line is how they are going to play/know they have to play pacifist, I am like "oh its going to be another of these"

Sure, the game is still pretty good, but I yet have to see someone learning about Flowey knowing about the resets, someone accidentally triggering a genocide route and resetting to abort it, killing Toriel then going back to try again, exploring any of the other endings.

    The little details.

No, its all "yeah lets play pacifist, then do genocide"

  4. Vinny has a deep stigma against Undertale and related stuff, aside a big fear of association to fandoms and lack of assertion.

He would love it as he played several games that are tangentially related to UT or have similar writing, but he always moves away from anything slightly more famous in the indie sphere because he fears people will "tell him how to play" (unless its a game that he wanted to play beforehand :^) )

Now and then he mentions that "he would like it and his hate against the game is a joke", but you can hear the disdain on his voice when anything UT related appears.

  5. It did feel like an expanded demo. Like TOGE said, lots of style, but mostly empty.

Having a combat mechanic and an inventory system made the game a tad worse for me.

The highlight for me was Vinny having a small meltdown when he skipped text and got confused (AKA grumping it), a chat said to him "read better" because all he was doing was kill NPCs with the hammer and he got mad because "oh this is like UNDEWRTOLL?? You gonna say there is a way to play the game??", which got the entire stream chat confused.

He even deleted the video because it was mostly people complaining about him being a dumbass.

Which connects to my next point, the ENA game, which he played with a more open mind and liked, but completely unrelated to him having voiced a character, oh no he doesn't has that sort of bias :^)

I liked for what it is, a lot of cool characters and designs. Feels rather unfinished, not because chapter 2 and 3 will take a few more years, but because it felt like some stuff got cut from chapter 1.

Also having a pay to be able to get the behind the scenes stuff was kinda of a dick twist.

Trust me Joel, I would get the ENA plushies if I could.

  6. I am split if I like 4.1 or 5 more.

5 has a better equipment system, such as letting you equip different armor, boosters and items. And some stuff like letting Rangers equip and deploy vehicles, and Wing Divers getting a very deserved upgrade to Jetpacks.

But on the other side, it drags on for way too long, starts to recycle missions and the ending is rushed. It keeps bringing new kaijus, then the mothership is invincible, then it isn't and you win just because.

4.1 has cooler enemies like the robots (replaced by frogs in 5) and a better build up to the ending, with the battle with the World Eaters being rather cool, pretty much being a desperate attack from the attrition going for so long.

  7. Everhood 2 is a game that has no reason for exist, as it undermines 1 and all the closure it had.

It should have made the Undertale/Deltarune approach, as it has a different setting and story, with some familiarity, while expanding the gameplay.

  8. Hell if I know.

    Ran and Tsukasa from 2hu

    Ahri from LOL

Bard from Beyond the Edge of Owlsgard (do you have a fascination with this game or something?)

Krystal and Fara from Star Fox

    Nazuna from BNA

    Alef from Shining Force

    Way too many vtubers

Some characters from stuff I've seen you post

Maybe two from stuff I've seen and I can't recall their names (girl down left from Fenneko, the one with a blue tie two spaces right of Xiaomu)

  10. Had a dream about a new Warframe mission.

There was a chance that your ship was kidnapped by a massive organic amalgamation, you had to defeat a boss to free it.

The boss was a spiraling meat tower made out of mouths, teeth, faces and tentacles. You had step on these nodes on the floor so one of the mouths would puke a shining thing, which you could pick up and throw it back to kill one of the mouths.

The mouths would barf a massive meat "beam" at you sometimes, summon weird bony zombies and slam the floor to create shockwaves.
