just thought I'd let you guys know, since a lot of people are going crazy over it: the 400% battle point booster isn't worth it it gives exactly 5x as much boost as the 80% one over the same period of time, but costs 7x as much that means the smaller ones gives 40% more for the same price unless: A) you plan on always having a battle point booster of some kind up, in which case the 400% is just more efficient you want to really grind out some items in a short period of time

you don't need to accommodate for the other people players with even a remote interest in competitive play can easily rack up hundreds of games over only a few eeeks

League did it just fine with their elo system before they removed it and replaced it with the League system (to appeal to fucking babies who didn't want to know how good they were) The thing about team-based games is that each player has 9 random variables each game. When you start to play more games, they average out and give you a more accurate result. This is a core principle of modern statistics that provides no real obstacle to all but the least competent of people.

meepo changes honestly aren't that big. while I appreciate that icefrog is trying to fix him, I don't think it was a great change. in fact, if you count the nighttime vision change, I'd say this patch was a nerf for him. sure, he has a much bigger chance to get a kill in lane now (with the decent net and the power spike at level 4), but meepo has never really had problems snowballing. the problem is reverse snowballing, where people like weaver or huskar can literally just walk up to you and kill you in lane, then you proceed to go 0-86 because the enemy spirit breaker wards your fountain and charges you every time it's up. the lower armor and lack of stat share on clones is only going to worsen that.
