Birth By Sleep completed (except for the Secret Ending which I can't be bothered to get because fuck 100% completion). Gameplay: 8.5/10. It's a Kingdom Hearts game. The command deck does make it interesting though, and Shotlocks + Command Styles are awesome. Story: 9/10. Outside of a healthy dose of "you could have prevented this why didn't you listen" it's excellent. Graphics + Music: combined 100/20. It looks absolutely gorgeous on the PS3, and the music is, as usual, totally incredible. If you have a PS3, do consider getting the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 mix. It's two awesome games.

Adventures in Birth By Sleep: Late game Aqua is an utter death machine. The command deck system means you can spew out magic without worrying about saving MP for Cure spells, and her magic is off the charts.

I'm watching it now. Ninety seconds in and it's already the best movie I've seen all year. The spoilers are my reactions as I watch. I revise my above statement - best movie I've seen ever.

So the most recent episode (874), Ash's gym battle with the Fairy gym, is the first time he's battled a gym without using a starter since Cerulean Gym (he used Butterfree and Pidgeotto in that one because Pikachu didn't want to battle Misty) in episode seven. Hawlucha with the KNEE OF JUSTICE

Adventures in Birth By Sleep, Aqua edition: Aqua's story is way faster than the others. It's basically go to world > see the stuff the other two fucked up > fix stuff and fight villains > go to next world That said, DRAGON MALEFICENT makes a triumphant return. Hella cool boss fight.

Adventures in Birth By Sleep: Ventus story completed. The final boss was actually pretty fast which was interesting- they're usually dragged out healfests. Now for Aqua.

Adventures in Birth By Sleep, Ventus Edition: fuck disney town's ice cream rhythm minigame so goddamn much I will give the game credit for clever storytelling, using three viewpoints to convey the story in segments. That said, it's still basically the same game three times which is eh. A good game, but still.
