Okay, now it's on. Kanto: all classics, all fantastic. Johto: Meganium is a bit bleh, but Typhlosion is cool (and still the only pure fire starter) and Feraligatr is a boss. Hoenn: best/10 Sinnoh: all cool Unova: I like Samurott, but it's probably the weakest gen of starters. Kalos: Greninja's badass, Delphox is a sorcerer, and Chesnaught is a tank.

Leaf Storm. Normally drops sp.atk by two stages. It's effectively a 130 power attack that is also Nasty Plot. Add in Serperior being fast (although a decent chunk of competitively viable pokemon are faster), and it's a scary prospect. However it's still starting with a 75 special and it has one of the saddest offensive movepools ever. Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, Hidden Power, and that's it. On another note, who should I try to shiny hatch next: Absol, Pinsir, Steelix, or Altaria? (I'll do all of them in time, I'm asking about order)
