Though this particular instance is ridiculous, most of Texas is not bad. Our ridiculous reasons for suspending people are just funnier because "Hurr, Bible belt, stupid cowboys!" - and to be fair, they are actually funnier.

I was tempted to respond with a bunch of straw men and ad hominems but that would be a strong argument against what you just said.

AFAIK, tarantula webs take a while to spin. So if it has prep time, that would change things, but I think they're just getting thrown in the ring with each other.
