Ran's theme is Ran's theme, and Yukari theme is Yukari theme. No need to overthink it. After listening to both back to back I see your point, never actually thought about that. I think the main theme repeating in both versions is overall one for the extra stage, just broken into 2 versions for 2 characters.

If you have integrated GPU on your processor, sure, you should be able to check what's going on. If not, you are gonna need more hardware to diagnose your problem.
