My biggest gripe with Diamond/Pearl was that Sinnoh had the grand total of two evolutional families that were of the Fire type, one of which was the Chimchar line, the starter for fuckssake, and the Ponyta line, so if you didn't like them, tough luck. And then they had the balls to make the Elite Four stupidly hard, well mostly Lucian with his Bronzong, whose only weakness was the Fire type, with other words the type that pretty much didn't exist in Sinnoh, and probably at a much higher level than anyone on your team unless you seriously grinded. Platinum nerfed the bastard by a good nine levels and had the common sense to actually give us Fire types, so Flint would actually use a Fire-type team with actual Fire-types instead of a Fire-based team.

HeartGold has been my favorite so far, but I agree that has much to do with nostraliga.
