This all started when Chairman Pao sacked the girl handling the AMAs during an ongoing AMA which was promptly cancelled to the annoyance of the person being AMAed. Said employee was apparently, one of the still most liked staff members of Plebbit. /AMA/ then went private and shut down in protest of it. Many other subs followed suit after that. Even the default subs protested it by closing, but that went over within 12 hours as the mods of those default subs got banned from their own subs and got replaced by Reddit Admins and Staff Members re-opening the bots. What made things even worse for Chairman Pao, is how she apparently fucking sacked an employee suffering from cancer because he wasn't able to work for them anymore and that the people who handled the Plebbit Christmas events also got sacked. Yes, they pretty much cancelled Christmas there. In short, Plebbit is busy tumbling down while we get to grab the popcorn seeing all the carnage unfold. Also, Scream Fortress V was the breaking point for me because during that event, they dug up the rotting corpse of what was once TF2's artstyle, just to ram their gentlemen in the festering arse of it while having all the voice actors make new lines to celebrate screwing the artstyles dead corpse, all while some characters still don't have Domination lines or other more important lines, but guess Valve's priorities laid at that point somewhere else already (Read: How can we cram more money out of newbies and other gullible idiots.) Robin Atkin Dowes was the only one to refuse making lines for that said occasion which is pretty damn commendable in my opinion. Oh yeah, and those Halloween items not being tradeable anymore if you got them with drops. Hope you enjoyed waiting for gifts only to get items you didn't want. You want them anyway? Well, you can buy them from the Mann Co Store, that will be 2 euros for once piece of a three-part set that you can only wear 40 days a year!

​One of the main gripes of MvM is, how it in my opinion split up the playerbase. The people who had money to spend for Mann Up tickets soon only played MvM Mann Up Mode with other people that paid for tickets, while they left their old communities focused on battling each other, behind. What didn't help either is that those also tended to be the more skilled players of the community, which eventually caused little communities to collapse due to the playerbase of those communities falling apart. What it also created, was a massive influx of elitism in the community over it. If you didn't have enough MvM experience for a Mann Up game, you would get scolded by the people who had 50 tours finished and probably kicked. Yet another problem in this is, how Valve probably noticed how they could get away with overpricing stuff, because gullible newbies would buy weapons from the Mann Co Store regardless. Hence is why the overpriced, 10 euro-costing Plognisator hit the Top 10 Best Sellers in the Mann Co Store for a seriously long fucking time. And this would have given Valve the memo that they can better pander to the new gullible idiots instead of the old community who would just craft the new weapons. If we look at an economical standpoint, Valve is probably raking in more cash now than at the start of the F2P Update. Losing the old guard of the community, or seeing entire communities flunk out doesn't hurt Valve's wallet if some kids on their parents credit cards keep buying up overpriced weapons from the Mann Co Store. We aren't the intended crowd for TF2 anymore in Valve's eyes. The intended crowd are the uninformed newbies who will buy overpriced crap from the Mann Co Store, along with the horde of elitists or traders who keep buying Mann Up Tickets or keys.

It is all dead, Dave. TF2 officially died on 29 October 2013, and since then, Valve goes around digging up the corpse once a year to apply new paint to the corpse's silly hat and bowtie, and this year, to apply paint to the rotting corpse's weapon that went into the grave with it. Christ, those skins look like MLP crap you would find on Gamebanana. Also, this patch nerfed the weapons I had the most fun in using them (LnL and BFB). You will never again blow up an entire control point with one lucky crit or run around the map like you are the Doomguy. Once again, there is absolutely no reason anymore to use certain items now. And like Rynjin said, although I started playing pretty late in TF2's timespan back when it was good (May 2011), at least there was a sense of community in the game. bigSPUF was always a bit of a shithole, but it was our shithole with a pretty lively community back then. The main reason why I eventually stopped playing TF2 was because every community I liked that were around then died around 2013 and 2014, and the members of those community drifted off do different things. The current community is just so devoid of skills, personality and fun. That feeling of excitement that used to be in the TF2 community is long gone.

​My room only has the sun on it in the morning, but even late in the afternoon it is pretty damn hot and clammy for the Dutch standards for the weather.

I wanna get excited, but knowing that Bethesda makes it, there has to be a fucking huge adder underneath the grass. My doomsday predictions for it, are a plot and writing even worse than Fallout 3 and Skyrim-like skill levelling meaning that you will max all your stats piss easy.

This would be horrible. Do it. On the other hand, ​you could possibly get a Kangaskhan before you even reach Falkner if you do that. Another suggestion for a run: Use only Kanto+Johto Pokemon you never used before.

The Dutch NT lost a friendly 3-4 against the USMNT last night despite the Dutch being 3-1 up until the 75th minute. Prior to the match, the USMNT only scored two goals against the Dutch ever. But no, in the last quarter of the match massive choking ensued, including substitute attacker Luuk de Jong missing three massive chances and also scoring a own goal while our defence was almost like Brazil's during that one match against Germany last year. Guus Hiddink is such an enormous fraud coach, why the hell did they even pick him above Ronald Koeman? Better yet, why hasn't he been sacked yet? We are about to fail to qualify for the next European Championship because we lost against both Iceland and the Czech Republic and we even struggle to not lose against Turkey and Kazakhstan. We are seriously afraid now to not lose against the Latvian NT, because that would mean that it would be almost impossible for us to qualify for the EC then. I know that our best player by far, Arjen Robben is injured, but it is still baffling to see how Hiddink managed to do absolutely fuck all with a team that managed to finish 3rd last World Cup with some pretty impressive results. Maybe because he is trying to defend with four players who are prone to fucking up all the time instead of just putting five in the defence so that there is room for error, but no, 'muh hollandse school'. That hasn't worked for a decade now. tl;dr just fuck our NT up coach.

​We've scared off quite a bit of people - Slick, Spycicle, DeGroot, Britt. who is next one thousand posts why ​I think that the list of people we didn't scare off would be way shorter than the list of people we did scare off.

I put in a new GPU (GTX 770) and a SSD in my four-year old PC a few months ago. That should hold me over for the next five years I think. Glad that I finally got a decent GPU since that old 220 GT kept overheating and causing BSODs due to its way too tiny fan being utter arse, thus requiring to dust it out every two weeks or so. Not really interested in GTAV at the moment though. Probably would have if San Fierro and Las Venturas were in.

The prom I went to in my last high school year wasn't so keen with prom dates either. It was more of an opportunity to talk a bit with people you wouldn't be contacting as much in the next few years. I wasn't really interested in it much either because the people I went along the most graduated the year before.
