  1.

Ash now has a goomy and the opening hints at it going all the way to goodra

But is it a male or female Goodra?

    This is important

No matter what, that one person you are subtly referring to is never going to shut up about that.

  2. I bought exactly one game that came out in 2014. Dragon Age: Inquisition.

I thought it was a GOTY contender until I realized the game was nonfunctional on many levels.

So near as I'm concerned 2014 was a shit year for games.

    >He actually bought Dragon Age Inquisition in the hopes that it might be good

  3. Super Smash Bros 4, because it was more than worth all the hype. Currently enjoying 2v2 online with my younger brother is my favourite part of it thus far.

Runner-up would be Bayonetta 2 for pretty oblivious reasons.

  4. Got a pot of white chocolate paste and Bayonetta 2.

God almighty, Bayonetta 2 is fucking awesome.

Are there any good Christmas markets near where you live, Davjo?

Yeah, Davjo, aren't there some pretty huge Christmas markets in Germany? I went to one in Oberhausen one year ago, and that was way bigger and cosier than what passes for Christmas markets here.

    GARRY'S MOD IS

    A WHOLE

    WHOPPING

    10% OFF

    pfth

(Time to get those Payday 2 DLCs I've been missing, at least.)

Its 75%, they didnt had updated the prices yet.

    Also >supporting Overkill DLCs

    >Total price of all DLCs are three times the main game

    Oy vey.

  6.

I defy you to find something funnier than wiping the entire field in 8-man Smash with a down-B.

Seven Sonics teaming up against one Charizard.

    And with Smash Balls enabled.

It is an abstract kind of hell.

  7. The whole thing with Denuvo seems to be manufactured from an unsubstantiated Russian rumor.

Denuvo even updated their FAQ to counter this rumor.

Well, another forum I go to someone whose pretty new SSD got bricked after playing Lords of the Fallen quite a lot. It also uses Denuvo. Then again, it could be that Lords of the Fallen is that poorly coded, I've heard not so good thing about it if t came to stability. But then again, same goes for DA:I right now because putting out decent PC ports take too much effort these days.

  8. Man Dragon Age: Inquisition looks great it's too bad it freezes on the goddamn main menu after 30 seconds or so (this is apparently a common issue on PC).

You'd THINK that would be the first thing they'd check and see if it works.

The game itself looks nice and runs well when I manage to move fast enough to get past the menu.

If you put it on your SSD, I hope you didn't like that SSD anyway, because DA:I's DRM is fucking bricking SSD's after a while.

Seriously, what fucking moron makes a DRM which encrypts a gargantuan 30GB per hour and thinks: Yeah, this is fine, I can't this fucking over paying customers in their arse in any way! What is that? SSDs? Sounds like stuff for pirates and people expecting good PC ports!

Then again, >Giving EA your money in the year 2004+10

  9. That reminds me, why are all kirby mains such degenerates?

let's see how many people i just insulted

I don't main Kirby, but I am pretty surprised that the characters I main don't get as much flak as I expected to.

  10. -Dark Pit is fucking adorable and I want to headpat the shit out of him

Dark Pit is the character my younger brother picks to piss me off for the remainder of the day.

I want to headbutt the shit out of him. Dark Pit, I mean.

  11.

Quoting myself because Valve really took a turn into EA town this event:

Man, every time I reread the blog post I cringe because of the amount of BS emanating from it.

While some farming accounts claimed more than five hundred gifts just last year

Even if you got every gift it spawned each 48 minutes since the first second the event started, you would actually need 2 more days to get to 500.

the median numbers of gifts claimed was only five

Now this one they did it. I'll bet the are counting even accounts that played TF2 once outside the event. To get 5 gifts you would have to play only 4-5 hours in the entire 10+ days from the event. But...

some players spent more and more time focusing on gifts

Maybe these players that got 5 gifts werent focusing on the gifts or playing actually good maps?

Put together, these two bundles will grant more items per player than the median five gifts from last year.

Of course 6 > 5, unless they were using a decimal system, that was the minumum number bigger than 5.

Because historically the total number of gifts has been unbounded, and the distribution incredibly skewed, we have been greatly limited when it came to what sort of content we could distribute.

'You guys will get almost nothing free, deal with it'

As we're now more tightly controlling the distribution, we can grant a wider variety of more interesting content and we look forward to seeing you all get your hands on some of it in just a few days.

'We mean if you pay for the content of course.'

WHAT THE FUCK happened this year. Did people bought so few items because they were free to get and they decided to pull this off?

Last year stuff were untradable, uncratable, unmarketable, you would get a random one each 50 minutes and there were like 120+ of them, getting the ones you wanted was really hard.

Suddenly they go 'Nope, forget about it guys, no more free stuff, you want stuff, pay up. Because reasons, have some stats we made up to prove our point, buy stuff from the store'

Am I the only one thinking that the 2011 and prior way of Halloween gifts was just superior?

It was so much more fun to have an all-out race and fight for the one gift that spawned every five minutes than to wait for almost an hour so you can waddle to your crappy gift in 2012. 2012 ruined gift distribution, and now they just buried it all together.

Fuckssake, there was nothing wrong about the way gifts were being given out in 2011. If you couldn't get your hands on a single gift, then you just needed to git gud instead of crying about it.
