I don't have a 3DS so basically all the JRPGs I know are the older ones, but I really liked The World Ends With You and Luminous Arc.

This may mean we're getting another machine pistol, but it may just end up as a high capacity semi-auto instead.

So, as requested by XY, I'm here to type up wot i think about Madoka Magica: Rebellion. Spoiler Personally, I think the ending was amazing. Not only did it tie up all loose ends about the show, but also tied back to Episode 1. All endings truly are beginnings. I don't really understand why people didn't like the ending, so explain I guess? If anything, I feel satisfied because of the ending. What I guess people could be bitching about is the fact that Madoka as a character isn't much of a focus anymore. This only feels natural to me, because I pretty much knew from Episode 1 that the show was going to be about Homura, not Madoka. The entire story focuses on Homura trying to save Madoka from being a magical girl, in which she eventually succeeds in the end, despite all the suffering she's gone through with time travel and witches. She's also prevented everyone else from becoming magical girls by getting the Incubators to discontinue the use of human emotions for power and herself transcending beyond that. I guess I can say that the movie didn't really surprise me as much as the anime because I knew what I was getting myself into when I first got going. Honestly, both ways of watching the show are fun. Getting surprised at everything that happens is great, but being able to piece together all the events as they unfold is just as entertaining. As far as art style, animations, and music goes, there are some parts that are just stellar. Combat sequences and even the more relaxed parts (the cake scene comes to mind) are ones that'll stick with me for a while. Considering that art and music are the main things I look for an anime to excel at, this show definitely exceeded my expectations even further than what the TV show did. They further capitalized on the personalities of the characters for their redone transformation sequences and their witch forms (well, it was only for Homura, but still). It's cool to see Mami again, but the only real reason why she's such a memorable character is the fact that she died. Sure, she might be a good character, but she easily gets outshined by others and is only known because of her death. There's a distinct lack of Kyouko which is sad because she is obviously best girl next to Homura. Sakaya is in a lot larger role than she was in the show, which does balance out the fact that she was outshined by the other characters throughout the show. Madoka also served as a lesser role to a certain degree. Still, she was heavily important since Homura, after all, is the actual main character more or less. Anyway, random.org has decided that I'll be watching Toradora next, so there's that.

No. I play Dark Souls already and it's still a long shot from what I imagine, except for how combat is handled. Every item you pick up and put in your inventory adds to your weight, shows up on your character (if it's not stuffed in your backpack), and subtracts from your ability to traverse dangerous terrain such as cliff faces or floors that break under too much pressure. Conversely, having more equipment before setting out lets you gather more crafting materials or cheat at puzzles a little. Also from what I've played Dark Souls has no puzzles, nor good "acrobatics". It's puzzles are "how the fuck do I kill this boss without dying 500 times" and "when do i roll away from this boss so I dont get one shot"

So my habit of binge watching half of a series got the better of me and I watched Madoka in 2 days. Holy fuck was that a wild ride. Time for the movie I guess.

Default weapons on Infantry are balanced well enough so you can do any situation. Just you can't really focus on anything in particular and they're kinda crap if you want to specialize. They're useful for finding out what you want to do. Unless you happen to be playing an Infiltrator or the Terrans or Vanu. Then you have a shitty semi-automatic sniper rifle that can't do anything.
