Isn't 'creepy' the point? Yes, but they're like.. creepier than creepy. Like, for the longest time (and still to this day, really) the animatronics freak me out. That means it's working.

At least Scott is being directly involved it seems so he can least make sure they don't fuck it up too much. And the producers hove worked on the Ring and Grudge before, so there's that. Though, considering what Hollywood sees as "horror" these days, it'll probably hold its own, maybe. .....Why not?

You know, lately I've been itching to play some WWII shooters, and I have no idea why. I mean, just look at my wishlist. 8/10 games on there are shooters, with only Flatout and Sonic Generations being the odd couple. And 5/8 of those games taking place in WWII, with Verdun and Necrovision taking place during WW1 (Necrovision is more fantasy though as you fight demons in that game), and COD:AW taking place in the future. And that's all after I removed the first three Call of Duties from the list and settling on WaW as being the WWII themed COD, and only after finding out that the older CODs have trouble with modern PCs due to age. And yet I only have $13 in my wallet, so I can only afford 1 of the 5 <$13 games on the list. What is wrong with me?

Hah! And you thought this was dead. No, just a combo of school, writer's block, and just at times not feeling up to write. You see, this is why I don't set deadlines. SE 01 CH 04 ​Subterranean Standoff Location: Unamed cave, Volrom Spoiler All three stood frozen, not moving a muscle, all quiet in the cave aside from the whirring sounds of the bomb. However, even the slightest twitch is sure set the whole standoff into a frenzy. John had to think quickly; he had to make a move now or never. "KARL RUN!" he yelled and pulled out his rifle and started firing. The creature dropped the crystal and got out of the way. It was too fast for John to aim properly; he didn't want to set off the bomb. Next thing he knew, it was on top of him, separated by it only from his rifle, trying to push back to get a clear shot, but to no avail. The creature knocked his gun out of the way and pushed him down. John tried to prepare himself for the attack when Rakarl charged in and drove it off. "Thanks, now go." "What? And leave you behind? I can't just do that." Rakarl looked confused and insulted. "I'll have to hold him off so you can send a message out about this back to Dracium and warn them." "But-" Rakarl was interrupted when the creature was back at full energy and clawed at him. John got in the way and took the blow. "ARGH! I said go!" John struggled against his foe. Rakarl reluctantly obeyed and headed towards the exit, taking a look back as the scuffle continued. The creature pushed John out of the way and tried to reach for him but John pulled it back with his tail and slammed it to the ground as Rakarl continued on back to the ship. Meanwhile, John extended his wings, carried the creature, taking many scratches in the process and bit into the creature's leg, severely wounding it. However, he bumped his head on the cave ceiling, miscalculating the height of the cave, and the creature broke free and fell to the ground. John followed suit, wiped his mouth and bared his claws as the creature stood back up, ready for more. Some time passed as Rakarl paced back and forth, debating with himself if he should go back or not. What happened to his partner? Is he dead? Is he still alive? Has he been captured? What about the bomb? Such questions filled him with agony and guilt. He couldn't bear the thought of him being responsible, not after the promises he made back home. He couldn't stand it any longer and turned to go back, but saw a figure up ahead limping towards him. It was John; bloodied, but alive. As he lurched towards the ship, holding himself after the long struggle. "So," Rakarl approached, "did you kill it?" relieved that he was alive. John shook his head, "No, it was.....a draw. Did you send the message?" Rakarl nodded, "Yes." "Good." Then John collapsed to the ground. TL;DR The standoff in the cave heats up as word must be sent out about the bomb.

This spiritual successor to TFC and QWTF was all but forgotton when it released right before TF2, but now it's back and free on Steam. I for one am loving it. It addresses a lot of the balance issues with TFC and has received some graphical upgrades. Every class feels fun and exciting with bunnyhopping meaning advanced mobitilty for everyone. And it's only a 2.5 GB download away. Only downsides are lack of servers due to low population for years since release thanks to TF2, but with its recent release on Steam for free might boost enough numbers to warrant more servers. Also Dustbowl is still crap even in this game.
