I would agree that FNAF was a cash grab, if it weren't for the fact that the gameplay changes each time and improve the game from the original. For example, FNAF 2 removed the doors and power management, added the Freddy mask, added vents, more animotronics with unique abilities, and the flashlight w/ battery, and the music box. The end result was a game more challenging from the first. FNAF 3 looks so different from the first two, only one animotronic who is smart as shit, an audio system that produces a sound to lure him to an area, a seperate map for vents which you can seal off, and all of those systems can fail which you have go to a seperate menu to reboot.
That don't sound like a cash grab to me. If the games didn't change up the formula and looked unfinished, then I would agree it's a cash grab, but these games are rather simple to make so it's tough to actually do that. Does the simplicity of the games lower there quality? No, in fact, since there's only one guy making the games and managed to release 3 finished products in only 8 months all at the combined price of a modern Pokemon game is quite impressive.
Besides, I think Scott himself said it would be the last one, so you can all calm down now.
THANK. GOD. Gaming is saved once again.
