Or you can give it to me. :3

I don't think getting vote-kicked off of Valve servers will get you VAC banned. I mean, if you really WERE cheating, I think you'd be banned automatically by now by VAC just for going on a secured server.

In which we post the randomest shit we find on YouTube.

Pure poetry of the highest quality I say. -
Well, Update 2.0 was released today. Tried out the balance changes nothing too game-changing. I like the Personal Shield changes. Tested out the Double Barrel, seems...interesting. More tweaking is required to find a good build for it. Haven't tried wave propulsion because I need to unlock corkscrew before I can unlock it and I just don't want to waste the blutes. I also need 10000 blutes for the new Deployable Shield. Domination seems fun. Haven't been able to play on Spires yet, but it looks fun. Don't really care for the new cosmetics. They removed the weapon levels from the victory screen, which is good cuz that gave newbies the wrong impression. The bots have been needed so they're less aimbotty. It's weird though because sometimes they have spot on aim and other times they can't hit shit. Reminds me of TF2's bots actually. Now as for lobbies, they reduced the time from 90 seconds to 50, and you can't multitask after the 10 second mark instead of the 20 mark. What's really interesting is that if you're still in the the other menus when the match starts, you won't be kicked, instead, you'll have about a minute to join in late, which is really awesome. Parties aren't split up as much (with the exceptions above). And to top it all off, you can join your friend's game anytime now. So if you see me online, feel free to join me. And last but not least, but fixes and localization are always nice. This is just my initial impression of the update. What do you guys think of it?

You know what, I just rememberes, you didn't even READ my application cmndr. I sent it like 2 weeks ago while you were still accepting, and all the way up until I deleted it upon finding this was happening, I saw it wasn't even read yet. What the hell?

Umm, quick question, how many mod spots will be open to claim for in the upcoming election after all this nomination business is done? (assuming there will be one)

goddammit Jeff Gordon, you HAD to change your tires with TWO laps to go?

You know, after thinking about it, I agree with Wulff and Raz. What was the point of having applications if it was just going to amount to these nominations of random people, some of whom don't even want the position. This system also screams of popularity contest. At least let the people at least WANT the position to show for it and let the credentials speak for themselves. It'll at least give rather...lesser known members to show what they got and everyone will have an equal chance.

By the looks of it, it seems pretty bad.....ass.

In that case, I'd like to thank the academy. Inb4notnominated

Fixed. Good point though. But mods don't have to have good leadership abilities. You just need to be generally good person and have an impartial mind to things. Mods police the forum, not lead it, that's the admin's job.

Comprehensive Administration Update - March 2014
John Caveson replied to tsc's topic in Announcements
From my experience, Admins can do pretty much anything, from locking/moving/deleting posts/threads to banning users, to changing the forum itself. Mods can only deal with threads and users. Basically Admins edit the forums, Mods police them. -
I second Huff and Stamda I also nominate Veez. EDIT: inb4popularitycontest

So does this mean I can be mod now? -
It's been long enough that SPUF is legitimately running out of things to talk about the second a gameplay-affecting update comes out methinks the forum's going to explode Yes, people are really getting desperate on what to say, and that's not good. As we know from the other game sub-forums, once you lose stuff to talk about, the forum dies since everyone is either bored, or heard the same thread millions of times. Unless it was the Demoman subforum, because we had the same people there defending stickies for around 500 pages. But I agree that there is nothing to discuss about TF2, other than to tell stories about some players that caught your eye for mostly a negative reason. The drought from Valve is so bad at the moment, that the Major Update Speculation Thread over at Facepunch has pretty much hit a halt except for posts talking about how Valve has been steadily ignoring us for almost half a year now and how Valve is fucking dropping us for the more audience-attracting games they have, DOTA2 and CS:GO. Valve can probably do the same for TF2, but it is easier to say that Valve is letting TF2 die a slow and painful death right now. Then it seems the End of the Line Update will truly be the end of the line for TF2. I'm depressed now. Break a leg.
