It kinda ruins the point if the new member knows about the requirement. Oh. I don't know the actual number, I just know there's a requirement. Which I figured out after trying to find the bloody forum which I couldn't and then finally figuring out that I needed a certain amount of posts to find it But then who told you about the forum itself? If it's hidden from you, then you shouldn't know about it...

Wait, who divulged this fact? Actually, admins now have the task of approving new members, but apparently IPB just wants to bypass our check and let them in immediately. God I can't wait for IPB4.

It literally is the only way they can afford to stay in business. The other options would be not responding to DMCAs, which gets them sued since they lose the safe harbor provision, or somehow hiring thousands upon thousands of people to manually review videos, which isn't economical for them. I don't like it either, but they DO give you the options for appealing the DMCA notice.

I promise you that when IPB 4 finally gets released (and when I get the money to pay for the support fee so we can upgrade to it), you will see why it was worth switching from the really old version of vB to IPB.

It'll cause an arms race.

It's because he's simple to draw and has a consistent identity. Rammite's probably second on the list as he's been a gear always. Me and Binary are last because our avatars do tend to change and they're often complex to draw.

y tho y not just do it incidentally you were all too scared or whatever to use it last time and youre too scared to come into ours (rhombo uses it for gods sake, you have nothing to fear) so i dont know Using server resources without a purpose is pointless. It won't have a major impact on the server but it'll still have its due.
