His Gyrados used Ice Beam most of the time, Snorlax was infatuated (attract 2 gud; he kept using Stockpile though and then Belly Drum), Steelix got onehit by Leaf Storm. @Slick his Snorlax used Stockpile quite a lot. Snivy can't learn it. Ah, okay. Defensive moves aren't my best subject as most of my strategies are either brute force or niggly tricks.

Cosmic Power is the only move that does that afaik. I /think/ Bulk Up might but I doubt Snivy learns that. EDIT: Nope, Bulk Up does Atk and Def, my bad Double edit: Stockpile does, can Snivy learn Stockpile?
