Can be good with a good chef. More often just adds a bunch of grease. -

The great race of Yith. -
I do not like this cutscene. Its smug aura mocks me.

I like a lot of offshoots of Firefox, but it feels like all of them have severe memory problems. I mean things like opening up a single blog page with no video/flash/scripts/etc and barely any images, leaving to do something else and coming back an hour later to see that the browser is now using .5 GB of memory. The frustrating thing is that it's not even something that happens all the time, or on every website. It doesn't even happen consistently on the same websites. Generally there's some set of circumstances that cause it to use progressively more and more memory without limit, even if there is nothing further to load on any page it is displaying. Other browsers seem to do this occasionally too, but not to the extent I've seen with firefox and its offshoots. I've heard chrome is worse, but I've never used it so I don't know. EDIT: I should also note that I know that I'm late to the party about this, and that people have been complaining about these issues for years. But it still really pisses me off. Almost as much as how many "retro" games there are which are so wasteful with CPU and/or RAM that you couldn't run them on a computer from five years ago, nevermind a computer from the era they are trying to mimic. -

Tzekibaba makes it really reliable against anything that doesn't kill you before turn 9. And there's enough defense tech to usually last to turn 9, given that you don't get screwed over by the draw.

Playing Seraph combo in Shadowverse. Plan is to draw out game until turn eight, drop the 8 cost seraph card, then win the next turn off a combo. I'm matched against aggro blood, going second. That's okay, because everything non-combo in my deck is heavy defense. In theory I can outlast them. Seraph and 9 cost amulet tutor in opening draw. Throw back, get another 9 cost tutor. In the next four draws I draw 3 seraphs. These high cost cards make up 5 cards out of the whole deck. Never draw a cheap two/three drop defender or kill spell, which make up 15 cards in the deck.

There's over 2000 though.

I know it's hard to come up with ten new mechanics after all this time, but the guild mechanics seem pretty bland. We have almost flashback, almost scry, literally just convoke, some boring attack mechanic, and some boring graveyard mechanic.

No I mean the original, and I'm referring to the sound effect which is used for the rat squeaks, yoshi slipping on ice, and some machine turning sound effects. It's really annoying and every time it's used for something other than a rat, I assume there's a rat that I haven't seen yet.

I like Yoshi's Island but fuck that squeak noise.

After weeks of listening to music from youtube mixes generated from various starting points and with varying browser history I have determined that all roads lead to Africa.

Sure. Go to any song on youtube, click on recommended videos, and see how long it takes you to get back to Toto.

Friend of mine got from a random wikipedia article to the McDonalds article in less than a minute (meaning through only clicking other wikipedia links present in the article). Absolute mastermind.

I feel like I've seen the design "just literally noire" show up at least four or five times in various things. Black hair, twintails, white/blue clothing, red eyes, tsundere.

It's not really a new tactic. There are a few cards in Invasion which were clearly designed to just stomp on Rishadan Port from Masques (i.e. Teferi's Response and Tsabo's Web). There were also some cards from Kamigawa designed to stop Affinity (such as Kataki), but I think affinity got banned hard before Kamigawa came out.

This man (of whom there are many) is in the youtube comments section. His standards are pretty low if he's watching the videos I'm watching. -

Today I realized that most of us will have less impact on the world than that guy who blows all of his money on commissions of his fursona. -

It apparently did have an officially supported fan-made simulator, but I can't find anything on it from the last year. I asked Jay about this and he said that he already told me all about it at some indeterminate point in the past. In retrospect, I don't know if I even talked to him about Force of Will at all before that conversation.

Wizards ran out of ideas so they just keep going back to the same places. But meanwhile, in Force of Will land:

I loved the higher difficulties on Metal Gear Rising.... except for Revengeance on Armstrong. Specifically the second part of the battle where it's a hopeless fight until Blade Wolf bails you out. I believe the cutscene to get past it is triggered either by Raiden getting hit after a relatively short timer, or by a much longer timer elapsing. However, on Revengeance Armstrong will one hit kill you with every single attack (in this section of the fight), so your only choice is to just run down the longer timer. And this amounts mainly to running away repeatedly and hoping that you don't accidentally back yourself into a corner that you can't get out of. It's pretty lame, and a shame for what is otherwise an amazing experience.
