Dall-E 2 (not the current mass availability one, but the current closed beta one) scares me, cause computers aren't supposed to have that power.
Prompt: "Painting of the orange cat Otto von Garfield, Count of Bismarck-Schönhausen, Duke of Lauenburg, Minister-President of Prussia. Depicted wearing a Prussian Pickelhaube and eating his favorite meal - lasagna."
COMPUTER SHOULD EXPLODE IF YOU TELL IT THIS

The First of May World of Warcraft video.
Still up here:

Is that not the point, that things get worse over time?
Think about it... -
I wonder if that's the most recent version. Seems to get updated every now and then.

I just gave up. There's no point. They'll take it all anyway. May as well enjoy the bread and circuses.

Yeah, I never really close tabs, and this site has been on the far left tab ever since it was first a thing in 2012.
10 years ago... man.

There's some good content there for sure but the current state of balance in the game is absolutely miserable. The release reminds me a lot of Afterbirth+'s initial release where they just added difficulty for no reason other than "I thought people liked hard stuff!". Literally the only stream of information about the update is in their dumb discord server which I aint gonna join.

I'm working in a print shop at the moment and I can confirm that is the case.

My grandpa didn't have a VCR when we cleaned out his place. Just a lot of books, his writings, and family photos... and an unopened bottle of Crown Royal.
-
The better question is who gave you a VCR for Christmas? That's a gift from either somebody who cares a lot or somebody who doesn't care at all.

I have a license but I've never had a car of my own. Mostly because I didn't get my license until I was 22 so I was already a NEET at that point and couldn't afford one, and the store and bank were a couple blocks away anyway.
Now that I'm not a NEET, I'm in the Bay Area and owning a car is a pain in the ass because of $5 a gallon gas and the cost of parking and insurance. Plus I get a free Clipper card from my school... overall there's not really any reason to sink hundreds of dollars a month into a car to get stuck in traffic. I'd like to have one someday though - a nice 3000GT VR4 that will cost a ton of money in upkeep and be impracticable for everyday use. But it'll be cool as shit.
I did have to sleep in my dad's old Aztek (coincidentally, the same one I learned to drive in) over Christmas, though. Almost froze to death the first two nights but it was fairly comfy once I got a sleeping bag.

90% of people that were on the internet before 2010 either turn into furries, trannies, kill themselves, or some (or all) of the above.

I always get calls for a "Fadi", so one day I looked it up and turns out my number is the exact same as his... well it was many years ago, and since he was like 80 when that was last updated...
It's basically the dead man's hand.

I think the Rushia shit made it to the trending section of twitter, so it's definitely in the normiesphere.
That shit was funny, by the way.

I don't have insurance, but my situation is such that I can afford it no problem, so I'm pretty aloof.

Other than my $5,000 dental bill I'm doing alright.

I need to actually just go while I've got free dental insurance tho
You should go, use that free shit. I'm paying the sucker rate.

I can understand some like my dad who got his teeth messed up due medicine when he was young or broken due karate tournaments, but most of the time are due people not wanting to brush their teeth at least once a day.
I brush twice a day now, floss, and use mouthwash... but when I was a kid I never brushed. I would turn the water on to fool my parents but I wouldn't brush. I was an idiot.

Dentist just looked in my mouth and said "you need to make another appointment but don't worry we'll fix it up" then left. This was after x-rays and stuff so she wasn't basing it off nothing, but she literally explained nothing and just assumed that I'd pay for another appointment. I didn't even know it was for a filling until I got to the receptionist.
E-mailed and said if I'm going to be treated like that I'm changing dentists. Got one of the most apologetical calls I've ever gotten in my life. Also got some clarity on the issue: the filling is for something that's kind of been "on the edge" for a while (which was mentioned in a previous visit) and just recently broke through the enamel, so it's a pretty minor filling. I was ready to call bullshit on the whole thing since the level of discomfort that I have now is basically nothing, as compared to the cavity I had when I stopped going to the dentist for five years, so I was wondering if she was just trying to get money out of me.
Still haven't decided if I'll switch dentists or not. I think this dentist has ridiculously poor bedside manner, but the other dentists there are really good. Too bad that they made it a crapshoot about which one actually sees you.
Depends on how much of a pain in the ass changing dentists is. Maybe she was just having a shitty day.

Went to the dentist for the first time in 10 years or so because I've had a toothache the past few weeks. Turns out I need two root canals, a crown, and one wisdom tooth extraction.

From my own personal point of view I would say the availability of SSDs for 2022 -> 2007.
For 2007 -> 1992 I'd say 3D hardware acceleration.

I managed to grab a 2080 in Jan 2019 for $690. Refurbished ones are going for $1,180 on Amazon right now, which is a better ROI than the DJIA.

Nice, good luck! Bon voyage, as they say!
