Those visual novel artists should train up and get better. I know what might help.

I would use it to advertise things of mine. So I assume it would not be for the best.

-lots of chitty chat about proper anime and big words- Oh, no, I ain't touching that show ever again. Didn't understand a fucking second of it - me and my friend spent most of the time riffing it ("BEAR ALARM. BEAR ALARM. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.") I'm on Korra for now. But ta for the info.

So while we're talking about critically acclaimed anime with interesting discussion about story development and expectations between western and eastern audiences, I was shown Yuri Kuma Arashi. It's... unusual.

I kind of wanted Scott's version of Freeman to go with option B at the end. Watching him go out belligerently screaming at a bunch of aliens could have been pretty funny. He does go for option B as a stinger after the credits with... unusual results.

Freeman's Mind is now finished, with a total of 68 episodes. What a ride.

Like a mewling babe of the flock, watching out through the chainlink fence of my enclosure, I am both intrigued and frightened of what I see.

I find this offensive.

I'm thinking of running a trilane involving Necrophos, Omniknight and Silencer. I'm also thinking of punching babies and burning down that ice cream place you really like.

Sorry. (I'm not sorry.) -
In the midst of the winter sale, Choice of Robots came out on Steam. It's an interactive novel, so it's the barest definition of a game, but it's one of the humbling and interesting things I've read in... well, ever. I'm quite biased since robots and transhumanism and the concept of creating something are all things I'm a huge fan of, but I think it stands up for everyone as it's written excellently, it has a surprisingly large amount of choices and consequences, and there's lots of replay value (as I can't name an interactive novel that's ever had so many damn achievements.) Regretably, it's very archaic - there's no back button, so be careful when you click, and there are basically no options, so get used to black text on white background which drives me mad after too long - but you know, if you like robots and/or reading, I'd recommend it. gush gush gush let's see what I hate instead Uuuuuuuuh. Assassin's Creed Unity is dumb. Or something. There we go. EDIT: Okay, my first intuitive playthrough didn't involve this, but I would also recommend Choice of Robots to anyone who wants to make out with a robot waifu. I just wanted my cool robot buddy.

Seems that didn't happen. If I may be so bold - I am the Pluto of this online friend solar system - it is usually because one or two individuals bemoan and cry during these games where the rest of us are having fun. Even now, if I was invited, I'd have to get out my "Party Pooper Blacklist" to see if I'm up for it. Just my two cents. Also, you know, the fact that we always have more than five but less than ten. Hard to do an inhouse with seven people. We need more members of this secret society. But no Homers.

Ah, yep, seems they didn't update the GMod discount. It's 75% now. Weird, all the others were updated on time.

GARRY'S MOD IS A WHOLE WHOPPING 10% OFF pfth (Time to get those Payday 2 DLCs I've been missing, at least.)

I was misinformed; the new shotgun is for multiple classes, not the Scout. The design made me believe it was a Scattergun unlock. Apologies, I was wrong.

I actually managed to sneak into Valve and get a picture of the new cover for Team Fortress 2 they're unveiling next year. Spoiler Well, okay, in all honesty, I wasn't even expecting a Smissmas update - I thought the End of the Line was this year's winter "celebration" - and any new weapons is good. I'm resentful that they are usable by less than a quarter of the classes in the game, and for classes that already have an overabundance of items to begin with, but at least they seem interesting and reasonably balanced. The beta gamemode also sounds neat, although I haven't played it and don't have a huge desire to do so - Overwatch is already doing the grappling hook thing anyway. Festive weapons are always a hoot, for me at least, so that's nice. Hopefully there won't be any "Black Box: Now in Yellow!" cases again. The other changes are all just floating parades in the Demoman parade, but even from a novice perspective, they sound reasonable and for the better. And the MvM change might get me playing the mode again - the single tour for Australium weapons was not my favorite and got repetitive after a while. So, yeah, unexpected and very good for the classes it affects. I just hope that 2015 brings about some updates to, you know, the other two thirds of the game that Valve keeps forgetting about. Yeah, sorry, Captain Cynical, but I just want Santa to distribute his toys more fairly, rather than give one kid all the shiny gifts because he's the most popular in class right now. Seriously, I've been waiting on a Big Earner buff for far too long now.

WOAH-OH, WOAH-OH, I'LL BE THE CHAMPION~

Advanced Warfare is surprisingly fun compared to its predecessors, but Titanfall is still superior in pretty much every way, and the lack of dedicated servers makes it really awkward to find a stable game.

That whole scene with Primal Groudon was actually pretty intimidating. Caught him the same way I did ten years ago, albeit with a few more balls thrown than last time. And then I got the flute and stumbled across Azelf. uh okay sure i'll take that too EDIT: I'm a real softie for finishing important battles with thematic duels - I defeated Wally's Mega Gallade with my Gardevoir, I defeated Drake's Salamence with my Mega Sceptile, and I defeated Steven's Mega Metagross with my own Mega Metagross. I just like doing it.
