Deck lists up, looks pretty good across the board. Think I'm def getting the UR deck, I love Mizzix and it's including a LOT of the cards I was gonna put into it anyways. Plus, the blue confluence is in it, which is such a good card.

Huh. They brought Ninja Brian on for a Grumpcade, it was actually really funny. He did an AMA on reddit today, I guess he's gonna be a regular on the channel now. I'm ok with this, he's actually a really funny guy.

I like this a LOT. I can see a ton of shenanigans happening with it. Also really like this one, I've always enjoyed Living Weapon as a mechanic, it's just a shame almost all of the cards for it suck. This one isn't too bad.

After careful thought, there's only one thing I want from the new Innistrad block. A legendary R/G werewolf. That's it. I get that, and I will consider the block a success, and one of my favorite blocks ever. All I want.

Not gonna lie, me too. I'm not a huge fan of Battle for Zendikar, and returning to the two most popular planes back to back seems like they're relying too much on nostalgia here.

Just pulled a Gideon...which I'd promised a friend wanting to get into standard that I'd give him any that I pulled. So that happened. Also got another Drana, which is great. Don't have to be constantly switching her between Alesha and Marchesa now.

Beef vegetable soup, hell yes. Suuuuper easy to make, just brown some ground beef, take a jug of vegetable juice and put it in a pot (along with another jug of water), put the beef and whatever vegetables you like in it. Heat. Enjoy. Saved my life during college, because it's ridiculously cheap to make-$10 will get you all the ingredients, and the amount of soup you make will last you for a good two weeks, even if you have it for dinner pretty much every night like I did. Love me some beef vegetable soup. Just don't put green beans in it. Green beans are Satan's toenail clippings.

I mean, it was basically just making Daxos hexproof and strapping like 5 swords to him. Every single game. Kinda shitty.

Shapeshifter tribal could be neat. A buddy of mine had a Daxos Voltron deck that worked decently. Super boring though. What direction do you wanna go in this time? Also, I totally called that Sphinx tribal would just turn into Esper goodstuff, there just isn't enough support for it.

Eh. It was my first ever EDH deck, basically what I did when I first built it was take the biggest creatures I could find and shove them all in. It's an absolute monstrosity when it's just a 1v1 game, but in multiplayer it runs out of steam super fast. Although there was that one time that I managed to steal my friend's Enter the Infinite with Diluvian Primordial...that was a fun game. But it's not one of those hyper-competitive, win by turn three decks. Animar comes down turn 3, gets big over the course of a few turns, gibs the black or white player, and then everyone else gangs up on me and I die. I figure Ancestral Statue will now let me kill 2 people before dying now. If I'm in a multiplayer setting, my Marchesa or Erebos decks are WAAAAY more dangerous than Animar, in my opinion. Also a bit more fun, if you're piloting them.
