Also, I'm assuming that's a beginner bots game-if you're doing that good on there, you should try moving up to intermediate. The bots there actually use something resembling strategy at times.

I just realized something. Missy said that the dead were being converted worldwide. Then they all exploded. You know what this means?

Because nearly all my creatures come in as 0/0's, and Genesis Wave always assumes X=0 when calculating CMC. You never want to flip a hydra off of a genesis wave or Proteus staff, it's happened far too many times to me.

So far, it's capable of a turn 4 11/11 Mistcutter hydra (Yay haste!) under magical christmasland circumstances. I can't wait to try this sucker out, it looks like it's more explosive than Animar or Ezuri.

Clan defiance, hell yes. Don't know why I don't think so, that thing's amazing. Savageborn's gonna be great too.

Making an EDH deck based around this bitch: Give me all the red/green X spells you can think of. I want to shove as many hydras, fireballs, and helix pinnacles as I can in there. Also ramp.

Just had an awesome EDH win in a 3-player game with my Animar deck, which normally sucks against more than one person. My opponents were Zurgo warriors and Kruphix draw shenanigans/big mana. My boardstate's okay-I've got animar out with 9 counters, and a Hamletback Goliath with 2. Only problem is I have 5 lands. Zurgo's got a shitload of guys, all of whom are black/white (which Animar's protected from). However, he does have 7 commander damage from Animar. Kruphix just accidentally boardwiped himself (he forgot the legend rule, turned all his guys into Animar with a Polypmorphous Rush for some reason. Think he forgot counters don't clone.). Zurgo cast Mardu Charm on Kruphix, made him discard Enter the Infinite, because that card in that deck is an insta-win, especially at this point in the game. My turn rolls around, and it's clear that if I don't do something, Zurgo's gonna kill me next turn. I topdeck...Diluvian Primordial, which lets you cast instants/sorceries from opponents' graveyards without paying. Grab Mardu Charm and Enter the Infinite, kill one of Zurgo's guys because fuck you, then proceed to cast every artifact creature and Eldrazi in my deck for free, which brings Hamletback up to like...36 counters or some shit, then with my last remaining mana, cast Hammer of Purphorous and send about 80 damage at Kruphix's open board, and the final 14 commander damage (which is unblockable because protection) at Zurgo. I'm so happy, Animar never wins and this was the second game tonight that he did it. Glad to see even my early decks still can do shit in this playgroup.

Been going through all my rares and stuff. Decided to add Reign of the Pit to my Marchesa EDH deck because it's so much fun. "Oh, everyone sac stuff. I'll just sac Grave Titan, and it has a +1/+1 counter on it, so it comes back aaaand I get zombies and a huge-ass demon token."

He hasn't, RTD did both the Tennant-era ones.

I think Wizard's reasoning that they provided was that Jaya and Chandra as walkers would be indistinguishable from eachother. I know what you're saying is true, but I do feel like they could've made Jaya, and made her work well-there've been a few ideas floating around that actually would've made multiplayer burn viable. A super-Chandra, if you will. Which is absolutely what Jaya was, and should be.

Ooh, my bad-thought you were just talking about infinite combos in general. Triskelion + Zombie Mikaeus goes off without needing Tooth and Nail-just ping Trisk for 1 damage every time and the remaining 2-3 to other players. Undying goes off, repeat until everyone's dead.

Exquisite blood and sanguine bond. Any life gain to you or damage to an opponent makes you win.

So that was a really fucking boring episode. It had a few decent moments, but yeah-it was an episode about trees, and not a single one of them said the words "I", "am", or "Groot". Lame. But then that preview for next week's episode, holy fucking shit that was intense.
