It may take a while to join... I've heard connection issues from a lot of people, though it ultimately works in the end.   For what it's worth, the console says you are connecting (and then disconnecting).   Huh. Alrighty then, I guess I'm waiting.

I can't connect to the server. I'll get on to the lobby screen, ready up, see a "Connecting to server..." messages, then the screen goes dark.   Menu music still playing, but doing anything at all reveals that Civ 5 has crashed.

True fact: I mained Meta Knight before I had realized tier systems even existed. Brawl was my single first foray into Smash Bros.   I didn't know what to think when I saw him on the top :x

Click the large title bar over your city to open the City Screen, then at the top where it displays the name, there is a small edit button to the side.

Yeah, which is why I didn't want to make rules of any sort. I don't know enough Civ to know that certain dick moves are viable strategies on certain civs with this victory in mind and that opportunity and so on and so forth.

I haven't been able to play any actual matches, but dem Broodmother buffs.   I've heard a lot of people fail even with the new Brood buffs, but I've been practicing solo offlaning and Spiderling control so I hopefully maybe can do this I guess.

  Smaller games would be fun, but we'd need to make sure lag is at a minimum because holy crap 900+ping isn't fun at all   I feel like Ground Rules should be discussed in another thread or something, since it'd have to be something that we all agree on. I'm hesitant to lay down any preliminary rules because I'm still pretty darn inexperienced at Civ. I will say one thing - Zerg rushes aren't fun. Maybe something like no hostility before turn 20 or something, but that might restrict some gameplay styles so I don't know :x   I've actually used this to play modded multiplayer with a friend.   It's pretty terrible.   Oh. Welp.

I was sifting through the Civ subreddit when I stumbled upon this!   http://multiplayerrobot.com/   If official Pitboss is going to be really anal, we can try this instead. It will run a multiplayer game, and when you're done with your turn, it transfers your save file to the computer of whoever's turn it is next.

Oh geez it's been a long while since I first saw that. Good times.

I think we should have the game speed be Quick, because anything slower will result in us taking literal days to research a new science

Silent, I was in the same boat as you. Never played a VN before, got Emi first and found myself at Emi Redeemed route (Where Misha gives you that second Chance for a Good ending) and upon finishing it, I was just dead in the inside. Everything ended happy, but I didn't want it to end, ever.

Yeah, they're nice buffs early game, but Meepo's up there with Antimage - They're carries because they get to their lategame so quickly that everyone else is at their midgame.   There have been TONS of changes to make the game more midgame focused, so it could just be IceFrog fucking over hardcarries.

I legitimately want to play Broodmother now. Shit sounds fun.   No serious buffs for my favorite heroes. Lina gets another attack range boost, Clinkz gets a nice change to Searing Arrows, and fuck timbersaw gonna be out of mana constantly the way i play him       Before, Sentries gave a large area of True Sight and a very small area of regular vision.   Now, Sentries only give this regular vision for 12 seconds, so you can see any enemy wards if they're on a hill and you plant them right on the enemy ward.
