I have peered into the gates of hell, and inside was Flaming (GX) Crimson Fatalis. My body was not ready. Though I did finally beat Gogma, I have a bronze crown now and everything.

​I played online with a friend of mine and we let randoms fill the other two slots. Can't remember what the randoms had, but he had an Impact CB and I was running Hammer. Our strategy was to use smokebombs and lure Zinogre away from Steve so we'd only have to fight one of them at a time. As long as the smokebomb is active (they last around 60 seconds) monsters won't see you and aggro unless you hit/touch them, which is why you lure Zinogre away from Steve. If all goes according to plan, you should be able to fight them one at a time, which makes the quest waaaaay easier. Failing that, we'd try to kill Zinogre first and then trap spam Steve to death. It helps when there's four people with lifepowder and the supply box comes with free EZ-Lifepowders. But yeah, fighting the both of them simultaneously is really goddamn hard.

Holy shit Phoenix Wright is so good

I did some progression finally and made starknight armor. Made it up to Gogmagzios after being stuck on Grank Teostra for a while.

I picked up the Wright Trilogy and I'm starting the First game. Should be hype.

Are the Phoenix Wright games worth playing? They're marginally on sale on the Eshop right now and I've never played one before. All I know is Coffee and objections.

G4G3 is back! And with an ingame model now too. I need the WA2000 because Agent47.

America's robot looks like one of those old Mechwarrior mechs.

I would still wear Bald Scout unironically. I think Scout looks good without a hat sometimes.

Popped Collar Med would be cool. And I'd wear Bald Scout if nobody wants it.

Friendly Reminder that the class updates, at the time, "ruined the game forever" too. They're remembered fondly, but people forget that most of those things were busted, broken, or underpowered on release.

On the one hand this has me interested in playing again. On the other, the servers I used to frequent died, so I would have to play in pubs. Anyone know of any decent community servers? Preferably with custom maps and without HLXshit statchat spam? Inb4 "No because valve/quickplay killed them."

SPUFcom Report Live Tonight! At the Alien Base, Chrysalid Six and the Thin Mints. Fortunately, the Commander Woke up from this nightmare and realized that we haven't even started the Base Assault yet. We can only hope his nightmare isn't a vision of things to come. *Cough*

Squad Sight Snipers are actually really good. You can still use pistols for shooting or overwatch, or just fulldash anytime you need to move, and once you're set up in the back you just pop heads all day. Unless people drop in behind you or squids hump your face, watch for that. Heavies are extremely useful against robits once they have Shredder missiles and HEAT ammo. Heat ammo lets you deal good damage, assuming you hit. But that's what scopes and medals that boost aim are for. Shredder rockets let everyone else on your team do more damage to whatever it hits, usually a big alien robot.

SPUFcom Report Squad Sniper Rynjin "Specter" Rynjin has become death incarnate. To borrow a phrase from Dr. Mobius "I see you. Now, I end you!" Squad Heavy Binary "Casino" Coder beats the house odds and DakkaDakkaDakkas everything to death despite Heavy's innate lowish accuracy. Squad Support Idiot Cube hasn't earned his randomly generated nickname yet, Aliens seem to hate him and constantly shoot at his poofy Guile hair almost killing him on multiple occasions. The new Squad Assault ICB Moose has finally earned his shotgun, just in time to fight giant bugs! The Wittynator Mk1 is still under construction unfortunately, It's just as well I don't have all six Squad slots unlocked yet.

Cloakers are especially weak to headshots. It may sound obvious, but Cloakers take four times as much damage to the head than the body. Most other units only take double or less.

Someone posted this F4 trailer analysis. Looks like gameplay is going to be Fallout: Skyrim Edition, or at least using a similar levelup system. Still looks fun, though.
