I just got Isaac rebirth I only played the first one, what do I need to know about this one?

Probably not a good idea to explore the great hollow and ash lake until you've completed Anor Londo. Unless you want to try climbing all the way back up the tree again.

Overall I'm happy with the ending, I'm just happy we got an ending at all, Overall it was a good season that mostly felt like a direct continuation of the classic show. I think my favorite episode is still Jack and the Graveyard though.

Played both Lisa the Painful and Joyful last year. On a more detailed note, I liked how you were constantly recruiting new party members, and they're all mostly unique move-wise. There's like 30 I think and you're constantly switching them. I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good RPG.

I just caught up, and y'know. I liked Episode 6 as a filler episode. I know it doesn't advance the plot at all besides explaining who the sudoku general was, but its a nice callback and "where are they now" for original series characters which ties into the 50 year timeskip besides "Jack has a beard now" Also more Scaramouche Also, not the same episode but, Damn Scottsman, you got super busy with your horrible wife.

Been playing Persona 5 now, I have no idea what I'm doing. I just kinda jumped on after friends of mine kept telling how good it is, and learning that I don't have to play the other four to understand it. This soundtrack is blowing me away.

DS3 takes a lot from Bloodborne, which was the fastest paced Soulsborne game so far. So it's definitely going to be a step up from DS2. But medium rolls are actually good in DS3. They have the same number of invulnerability frames as the fast roll, and fatrolling only kicks in at 70%. Also since DS3 doesn't have that adaptability stat, rolls start out good. The only thing I don't like is that poise is basically dead. You could tank hits from bosses without flinching if you were wearing heavy enough armor. In DS1. (That said, I haven't actually gotten very far in DS3, but I did beat DS1 and got like halfway through DS2 and 70% through Bloodborne)

Samurai Jack Episode 4 was aright. Reminded me of Ep21 where he has to run around a similar place. I did like how he acknowledges "I've literally done this before, it's no big deal."

Yakuza0 is radical. It's the kind of game I never knew I always wanted.

Just remember don't read spoilers, because that will flat out ruin parts of the game.

So I've finished Nier Automata. What an emotionally draining experience. Easily already my personal GOTY But the main plot thread really only picks up on/after your second playthrough.

Finished my second playthrough of NieR: Automata. Aw Shit, well here comes playthrough 3 and 4 right around the corner.

Something they do a real bad job at telling you is that Low Chaos doesn't have to be Ghandi Mode. You can supermurder all the conspirators and gank some guards and still get the good ending. Low Chaos just means you aren't going on Revenge Bender killing sprees. I think the threshold for irreparable high chaos is something like 30% of the game's total NPCs. So you can paci-ghost it, Low Lethal Hitman it, and High Lethal Murderspree it for different dialogue in a lot of places. The DLC does offer more nonlethal options though, since there were like two total in the base game.

The adventures of PTSD samurai continue. The animation and fight choreography still top notch. Damn jack, you scary. But that cliffhanger tho.
