On that note, they are trying to get me to rent a modem from them. I'm hoping my dad has a spare one somewhere in his collection of technological odds and ends. It doesn't matter whether you rent from them or not. Since Comcast is basically one giant dick composed of a million other, smaller dicks, they'll come after you and try to charge you for "not returning their modem" even if you don't rent one once you leave where you are. wut I'm just going to...hope that doesn't happen, or that I can whine loud enough to get them to drop it. And I did find a modem, hopefully it'll arrive by Monday.

I took a look at the internet-only plans, since I doubt my roommates will need cable TV or a landline. Performance seems like the best deal, considering that we're paying for the "maximum" speed, not the actual speed. I'll be including my roommates in the final decision, but I just wanted to get your opinions.
