Reading a guide and doing a couple of botmatches is enough. If you know the RTS genre from before you can jump into matchmaking after getting familiar, because you don't want to get used to bots as allies or enemies.

The thing with Dota is, when you are new it looks like complete shit, everything is unbalanced and community is 300% dicks, but in 98% of cases, people who bother learning dota will like it. Of course you could just not be into the dota-like genre at all.

BH didn't need that nerf at all. The -1/3/5 armor was just a neat side effect that barely did anything, pointless nerf since BH isn't unbalanced in any way. To counteract the Track nerf they should give Shuriken 20 more damage IMO.

A shitty game where one regular unit can convert your entire army to the enemy team, and if your main unit dies the enemy gets all your resources. Also graphics are terrible and I can't think of anything else.

Except Tide is a lot simpler than all of those. To be good at WD you must be VERY good. To be good at Dazzle you must be in the middle of the battle to be effective. To be good at Leshrac you must know general info and what not to do. Necrolyte is a carry, Doom is a carry, Dirge isn't very simple. I'd suggest Luna/Skeleton King if you need a carry example, Zeus if you need a mid hero, Lina or Lion if you need something else. Tide as overall works good, but his ulti might be overwhelming.

To be fair almost all the polycount sets appears to try to be flashier than the others instead of fitting. Also, Shredder is live, time to chop down trees.

So far I am incredibly disappointed with the Polycount winners. The WD set looks like complete garbage. The Meepo set is literal garbage, better than WD set but I don't like it. The TA set is cool except the hat looks so odd. The CM set looks retarded The Exile set doesn't fit in any awy. The Red Talon set is the only one I like so far.
