NC are very boxy. It's kinda their thing. Default textures. They're kinda shitty. Pretty much the motif. Supposed to be ugly and reinforced. I'll keep working on it.

I am actually enjoying myself as well. Seems like they balanced it a bit, and the progression is nice. They did wipe my old weapons though :/

I did it! Beat my rival off an old save, he sent out like 3 fire types at once, and my Larapas took them, then my Graveler self-destructed his Bloatese(?). Then revives Then my Charizard took the rest. I feel smart. On to Emerald.

So I made it to the end of Fire Red. Made it through the final 4, not enough revives to beat my Rival. Currently running through grass to make sure I have 6 lvl60 pokemon before I try again.
