Spoilers are complete I'm a bit disappointed they didn't do much interesting with Rebound and Megamorph was not only utterly boring but also terribly handled. However we got a surprising amount of potential Modern cards and it seems like a very powerful limited format, so I'd still say it was a success.

Burn versus control is a very strange and interesting matchup, since it's basically a matter of who goes first loses; control responds to anything with counterspells and burn responds to anything with burn. The matchup gets decided by whether burn gets enough creature hits in or control manages to resolve a large lifegain spell (Timely Reinforcements, Sphinx's Revelation, 2 Lightning Helixes or some big fat dumb lifelinker like Baneslayer or Wurmcoil) without getting Skullcrack'd. If a control deck would try to resolve Leyline of Sanctity, the burn player would probably respond with 6-9 points of burn damage, untap and drop some hasty beaters. Unless the control player managed to get to turn 4 while taking less than ~5 damage and can then immediately gain a ton of life the very next turn (and a smart burn player can still Skullcrack him/herself!) the control player just loses on the spot. I gotta say I really like burn as a deck actually. Many people think it is a super easy archetype but it most definitely is not. The only thing I really dislike about it is how dependant you are on your topdecks; drawing one too many land will just cost you the game.
