You could argue that him being the same Bond isn't confirmed either, but that was at least the case in the books so one way or another it at the very least has more credibility than the different Bonds theory. I stepped out of comp TF2 years ago so how the community is right now you'd have to ask cmndr, since he's doing a lot of stuff in that area. However the potential for comp TF2 is immense, even after all these years. 6s has a fantastic metagame that has a very high skill ceiling and promotes teamwork much more than most fpses.
