I really like alt colour palettes in fighting games. It's a fun little thing to work towards without actually influencing gameplay. I hope sm4sh does that as well since the demo doesn't allow the America fuck yeah Mario skin yet

My prerelease was alright. I had a craptastically awful pool, with okay-ish abzan color cards, terrible blue cards, a Butcher of the Horde and all my color fix was blue. So fuck. I ended up going five color goodstuff, mostly Abzan but with a tiny splash for Butcher and Treasure Cruise, because you can't possibly NOT run Butcher. And with my sultai and jeskai tricolor lands I thought why the hell not let's splash blue because Treasure Cruise is p sick. I ended up 1-1-3 so no prizes for me. Butcher did indeed cruise me to victory in the few games that I did win but that was basically the only thing my deck could do. Flyers especially wrecked me really hard. I did end up doing some realy good trades, some guy really REALLY wanted my Butcher and gave me almost trice what it is worth right now.

The last update also made the Lightning Gun utterly useless which used to be my favourite weapon of pretty much every game Ive ver played. The new announcer is realy obnoxious and the new casual gamemode is just proof the devs have no clue what they're doing

I really really hope these are indeed Halloween restricted. If yes they're a pretty fun addition with the set bonuses, if not they yet again managed to murder TF2's artstyle to a level I hadn't deemed possible. I didn't like CSGO much myself, maybe wait for a free weekend to trial it or something? It's a "generic brown shooter", but a decent one. And it's never worth it to buy a console just for one game (or collection of games). Just ask yourself; is the price of the xbone + the collection worth it just to replay some old games in HD?

At the end of the day, top game lists are always a bad idea because everyone will just complain how they're favorite game isn't in the top 10(or is behind an inferior game). I also finally had the chance to play Skyward Sword and dear god the sword combat is annoying. Not entirely true. You won't hear me complain Metroid Prime is never the #1 on these kinds of lists, and Mass Effect 2 might be a pretty good choice actually. But really it's just fun to mock a shitty list I still want to play that mostly because of the feelgood OST
