I'm the opposite, really. The SECOND I started playing FPSes on a computer I pretty much couldn't play with controllers. I picked up mouse + keyboard fairly quickly.

right now Kunai is in a good spot in my opinion, but if it WERE given a little buff I'd say something like no fall damage. +speed on kill would be interesting but maybe a little much

I do like the idea of a very short-lived shield, but perhaps basing it off of damage done is making it needlessly complex. Why not have a "SHIELD" bar, split in two. Hitting M3 activates the short-lived shield for a small amount of time (fraction of a second, perhaps?) and depletes one part of the shield meter. The meter recharges at a certain rate that I can't be bothered to think of right now. Maybe even make it a passive ability? Hitting M3 with any weapon active will activate the shield. Naturally you won't be able to spam it, but well-timed wrangles can potentially keep a sentry going under circumstances that would have normally killed it.

I probably couldn't say, my recollection of it is hazy at best. But considering it was one of the first I watched (and that means it was one suggested to me by one of my IRL life friends who had a rather irritating tendency to give me nothing but ecchi anime suggestions) it most likely has a bit of ecchi in it. I can't wait to see this.

Det's hard to do with sight, I'm pretty sure most of the people who are good with it do it by timing. I at least (try to) time with it.

Once more it comes down to preference. I just see the Detonator as more versatile. I myself prefer doing more damage over annoying. Especially since you can manage group ignitions with Detonator anyway.
