I agree on that, a lot of the world lines I would have said "fuck it" much sooner than MC-kun goes. You could say it's because he might learn something, but I really don't think it's worth the horrible pain and emotional scarring. I liked the shouty cats. The monocle one was the cuter though.

I thought he didn't always just kill himself because he really doesn't like dying. Like, I remember he had a speech about how much he hated the pain of dying. That one time was kind of absolutely fucked, so I think that he tries to keep things going as best he can before he can officially deem something unsave-able. Which usually he doesn't need to bother with, because if things reached the totally fucked stage, then usually it means something or someone else will kill him anyway. Of course, I wondered the same thing. Honestly I wish they just had another situation where he thinks "I could restart right now" and then comes to a conclusion as to why he shouldn't, whether its being a pussy or for other reasons.

For those of you scared, rightfully or not, I suggest getting a gun and learning to use it for self-defense (if not for general enjoyment). You can buy a Hi-Point for a bit over $200 (state to state may vary.), a few boxes of FMJ for training shooting and a box of hollow points for use. Cheap shotguns will run you a similar amount, if you have a preference. Get a CCW if you can, carry especially if you don't feel safe. If the racists/state-sanctioned right wing death squads/rioters/burglars are what you see as a severe problem, at least do what you can for yourself as the Constitution says. If they come for you, you'll have a response. I'm not trying to be a meme here. There's a reason there's a Second Amendment, for when the citizens feel that they can not trust the government or those that would seek to harm them. This applies to MANY people right now.

I'm hoping for some sick Supreme Court appointments (which is the most important), removal of that god-awful weapons import ban from Russian and Co. (eventually), etc. Considering the alternative, this is the best case scenario for me. The only thing that is truly a failure is that NV went blue for some godawful reason, and that the jury is still out on Q1 with it being 50-50 currently. Federal gains, potential heavy state losses.
