What song are you listening to RIGHT now?

A lot of people liked Being and Nothingness more than State of Insurgency, but I have to say I like Insurgency better. It has more of a thrashy feel, and I absolutely love the vocals which sound a lot less calm than Being and Nothingness's. Also the cover art is definitely more entertaining. Look at that guy's face.
  2. Are you saying you don't want to be a tier one operator?

Sakurako's redhead phase. Also she dropped Himawari for a Slav, I think.

  7. I see boot's no better of an experience across the Atlantic, if the stories my family have are any indication. Stay strong man, I'm sure that you can pull through.

    Dreams

I had a dream that I was at a movie theatre that also was holding a prerelease for a TCG. (They distributed magic AND yugioh packs at once. So that was weird.) I decided to walk home real quick since there was time before the event started and I see some people in my house playing music. At first I think it was my brother's friends, but after a car drives in front of the house and just stops there I'm sure those people aren't meant to be there. I remember pointing at the car guy and he turned around and the other two in my house started coming out. At that point, my brothers showed up and I thought we'd be okay. That was when one of the guys in the house brought out a gold-plated Striker and we all scattered. I ended up diving into the yard of one of my neighbor's, staying there for a bit until the dream abruptly ended. I remember hearing a few gunshots.

    Dreams

I had a dream I was doing spec-ops-tier shit in Planetside. I was playing Stalker Cloak Infiltrator and me and a few others were sneaking around a NC base (we were TR), and we come across a squad going over the main battle strategy for the area, so we listen to most of it then I assassinate the squad leader, and as we're ducking out from the gunfire we hear one of the NC yelling about calling in orbital defenses. In my mind that was something high-ranking leaders could call in, and it was basically just a hugeass mainly indestructible tank that functioned as a mobile command post. Why they called that in for a Stalker Cloak infiltrator I don't know. All I remember is panicking about it to the remaining squad member as we were catching our breath in a swamp area.

I liked Saya (considerably more than Hotaru) and her brother but they usually took a back seat to WHOA CHECK OUT THIS NEW CANDY

I suppose since I watched a lot of things I could talk about them too: I dropped Dagashi Kashi as well and for pretty much the same reasons as you guys. I dropped Dimension W after they had a setting for some interesting sci-fi crime action and immediately left it for vaguely supernatural murder mystery in a victorian mansion. How do you screw up that badly? Geez. The robot was cute but not cute enough to keep me watching. I dropped Erased because it was clear it wasn't the right kind of show for me, and holy fuck what was wrong with that girls' lips. Kinda glad I did since the mystery was plain to see and the ending was apparently awful. I dropped Active Raid due to lack of interest. The episodes were all really formulaic: Some character introduces something about themselves -> some terrorism thing happens -> "oh no there's no way we'll defeat this" -> the character uses that something they revealed in the beginning to stop the terrorism -> fin. The show was pretty entertaining when the characters were, like the mecha fight episode or the gambling one, but it just seemed like I kept watching the same thing over and over. Luck and Logic I also dropped due to lack of interest, probably because it was just weak in all directions. I liked some parts of it but not enough to keep watching. Ajin I'm watching and still watching because it's pretty good. I'm interested in basically all of what the characters are doing, and the CG artstyle looks pretty good. Also the black haired girl in that show is so fucking cute oh my goodness. Pandora was a really charming show, and had a really weird way of worldbuilding a place that is actually kinda fucked up in the background amidst the two main girls doing cute things. Really, my only complaint is the end felt like it was resolved too quickly, the big fight was just a matter of "oh I can kill him in one shot just distract him" and one character is fake-killed but it's clear that she couldn't have died or the entire story would just deflate. The art style is bare bones but the animators work with it to make it cute. Also it has the fucking best ED ever of all time seriously listen and watch that shit it's adorable. Bubuki Buranki was amazing, and I'm super hype for S2. It was slow at the start, but then once the team started going it introduced villains that were super interesting on top of developing the main cast fairly well, and the CG was top-notch. Seriously, I can't think of any characters that I didn't like in there, about 90% are great and the remaining 10 are just satisfactory. It was truly an adventure, and I suppose the only real problem is that it's left a lot unresolved - but that's what S2 is for. As for shorts, I can't say much more about them. Galko was fun interspersed with weird shit, but kept a good balance and I suppose in a way it endeared me to the characters. Marshmallow was cute. Same thing with I'm Tired of Being a Magical Girl, though Magical Girl kinda needed more Magical Girl stuff and less bullying the mascot because he's creepy. I think Bubuki Buranki had the best OP. Pandora had the best ED.
