Voltorb/Electrode are more or less based on the classic "this treasure chest is actually a monster" bit from Dragon Quest. uh maybe they also have lungs? I am glad that later generations have less shit that explodes in your face. Seriously, Gen I had probably the most things that could explode out of all gens, and I cannot remember a pokemon outside of Generation I that could explode in the wild.

I completed Dishonored's main story last weekend. Went for an almost completionist run the first time through. I suspect that you aren't supposed to spend 24 hours on your first run. Granted, I took a fair bit of dicking around during that. It was very fun though, so now onward to The Knife of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches. Going to get as much as possible on the first run again. Woohoo. Also, I got a bit carried away with writing a review for Red Orchesta 2 / Rising Storm. You can read the essay here. Go get X or Y instead of Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity. Gates to Infinity is definitely lacking compared to the other Mystery Dungeons (you only have four choices for starters for example, not everything from Gen I to Gen V is included, it is mostly Gen V stuff). X and Y are however even better than expected, although it is pretty easy. But there is always online, so yeah. Also, it has a National Dex consisting of 450 pokemon, with other words, the biggest catching variety so far, as most species are only seen on one route, which is really refreshing honestly. But I wanna be a Snivy :c I'm aware of the negative reviews, doesn't prevent me from getting the game tho. My biggest gripe is that they scrapped the 'we will pick your pokemon out based on this personality test' thingie. I still wonder how my younger brother managed to get a Skitty of all things as result of that. And he took a Totodile as partner. The contrast couldn't be any bigger if I tried to.

Still suffers from Flareon Syndrome in having no better physical Fire move than Fire Fang to make use of that enormous Attack. But at least his other stats are also pretty good. And he is my favorite Legendary from Gen II too.

Actually, it was improvised, Crazyhalo came on the server, then Reima, I just saw it as a perfect opportunity to repopulate the server. Then we went to Hydro and we got a boost for some reason. Sad though that the server is shutting down next week cuz of lack funds *cough**cough* I blame DOTA 2 for hogging all of Valve's attention. And traders for giving Valve that much money for absolutely lazy work.
