Made it through night 5 without even running out of power, literally 0%. Total Deaths: 1 READ IT AND WEEP! http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/538503377808685454/BF3770535E42386522996D60E0170029A365187D/ Now all I need is to beat the 6th night and 4/20 mode, then I'll be among the champions.

SubSPUF in Space: Revival discussion (+ something else)
John Caveson replied to Davjo_'s topic in General Discussion
Another reason it seems dead is that the fall semester for a lot of college/high school students (a.k.a. most of subSPUF) is taking a lot of time out of everyone's day. Combined that with what ever job they may be working at, and people just don't have the time to just sit back and think of creative stories to write. Basically, real life trumps vidya/forum games, unfortunately. -
Not really, but Scott has said that either you or phone guy had something to do with the events in the back-story, so who knows.....

Damn, had a perfect run up until Night 5, then I ran out of power to early and Freddy had his way with me. http://cloud-4.steampowered.com/ugc/538503377778801957/9EAFBB7011F1AD9DFC6B3343C907D2C76D7CAE1B/ Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow or when ever I have time.

I'm surprised TCW lasted as long as it did on CN.

1.) I didn't say they were the reason, just joked about how the "stereotypical" comp smash player were react. Again, grow a sense of humor. 2.) "they'll find some way to hate smash 4" I said that because from my experience with skill-focused games tend to draw a more competitive crowd. These players play the game to win. They focus on the meta and to perfect every little nook and cranny in the game to become the best and take it pretty seriously, there's no denying that. So when a new game comes out, these players play the game, they too find every nook and cranny to master. But, what they're used to from the past several years, is every nook and cranny from the last game. They've spent years perfecting that game, so when the new game in the series comes out, if they find too much of it is different, particularly when they find a mechanic designed to "help the noobs", then they disown the game and call it trash, because it's not a "true [iNSERT GAME SERIES HERE] game". Sometimes they're right, as with Halo 4, sometimes they have their heads too far up their asses, as with Smash. That's not me being hateful, just stating from my experience, I know there are plenty of awesome people in every comp community in a game, but even the best players can be douches sometimes. And if all that isn't "analytical", I don't what is and I must be a snowglobe, but dammit, I'll be the best snowglobe I can be. People can play whatever the hell they want. I'm not trying to "hate" anyone for playing the way they want. Just poking a little fun. Once again, grow a sense of humor and stop taking it so personally. Perhaps I worded it wrong, or I've forgotton that it's hard to display intentions over text, but what's done is done, and I've explained myself enough.

Here's an idea; maybe you should stop talking trash about things you don't know shit about. How to get a joke: Step 1: Grow a sense of humor. Step 2: PROFIT I don't think I've ever seen any decent smash tourney ever having matches on the Temple or whatever large maps the games have. (Temples the only one I can think of at the moment) And even if a tourney did have those maps, I'm sure it would be pretty boring to watch.
-
But like omg, big maps are not competitive hurr durr. Clearly, they are uneeded. Though depends on your definition of "big" for stages. If you're talking about Temple of Time or Pork City scales of big, I'm glad they're gone, games were so boring on those.

RISE FROM THE GRAVE!!! Guise I've found best guide to CS:GO. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ida4D2J_riM To be serious though, I've found this game to be rather fun. Then again, I've only played against bots......on easy. But, I have a feeling human servers won't be so different.....probably because I've heard that this is the more "newb-friendly" CS than past CS. Which, to be honest, is good for me because I am completely new to Counter-Strike, so this is the perfect game for me, along with added bonuses like better graphics, skins, and constant support from Valve. Once I start playing on human servers, y'all are welcome to join me. P.S. Hi past een, pls come back, we miss you (and Janobi).

Oh just give 'em some time, they'll find something to drop the game about for "not being Melee". The Smash competitive community is notorious for that.

Di-did Valve fix the game? No, I spent 1300 on a new pc. Ok good, I thought I had to pinch myself there.

"Yes it can Paero fuck off you're a retard" Done. Where's my cookie? -
Still waiting on the Wii U version.
-
The thing is: It doesnt. 99% of it is just stuff fans made and the creator when 'yeah, sure guys' Still fun to speculate on though.

Let the spoopiness begin.

I'm re-reading the older ones to catch up. Funny how there's a comic delay thread as it goes up.

It was initially a joke, but when everyone became convinced, it was painful to watch. There are some benefits to the fact that you did take it seriously, though, in valuable feedback on forum systems for the future and in other things that we learned. Are you even serious right now? Half the forum's calling you out, people are calling for you to step down, and you're acting like this is just some data that you were able to collect? I'm sorry, but I have serious reservations about letting someone run this forum who just admitted to saying that he deliberately took something went too far, but golly gee I learned some interesting things about people today because of it, everyone! Frankly, it's mildly disturbing.

You see though, it's hard to imply intention over text on a forum (that's why we have emoticons). And since you're the top admin, people are supposed to trust you naturally as a leader and take you seriously. The reason why we took you seriously after our initial doubts was the test sites, and your straight-faced attitude. You took the "joke" (the point of making an actual joke is for people to laugh with you, not hate and mistrust you) too far. Now that not only looks bad on us for falling for it, it looks bad on you as now we lose a bit of faith and trust with that leadership, considering anything you do affects the entire forum. You say it's a joke, but I don't see anyone laughing. That's like saying "you guys suck lol". Sure it's funny for you, but not for any of us. Basically what I'm saying is you were being a massive troll, and I don't want a troll running a forum, if that's the case.
