If you think your skill is holding you back, don't. We'd all be pretty much at the same level. Just figure out which classes you'd like to play - there will be plenty of times to switch as the situation sees fit. The important thing is building a decently reliable lineup.

Resurrecting the dream - we should totally have at least one Highlander team in the spring. Even if it's UGC Cardboard it would be fun.

  If I remember, we started this whole 'a new place for old spufers to talk about anything' way before the idea of a server.   Nope, this was started AFTER the SPUFserver, believe it or not.   However, it still wasn't technically the server's base until I took the server over last September.

Everyone calm down.   Nothing is happening to your beloved subSPUF. It will still continue to be up and maintained (well, as long as the dolla necessary to keep it up remains inbound, but we haven't had an issue with that yet).   The projects have been moved off of the forum. Currently the senior management is working out what their future will be, but in the near future most of them are remaining up. The SPUFserver has been taken down and the High Admins Council dissolved, yes, but that's until we figure out what to do with it. We have plans to continue all of them in the future.   I'll let you know if anything changes.

Well, it's been all but decided - we are moving away from SPUFpowered. As a result, the High Admins Council has been dissolved and most of the project-related items have been removed. I'll make sure to announce anything important as it comes along.
