Honestly I think the biggest thing wrong with my German host family is that they keep asking me what I want to do. They're supposed to have planned stuff, I don't know what there is to do here, so a lot of times I just look like a dumbass when I say "I don't know". I'm grateful for being hosted but since half of the pre-planned group events haven't come to fruition or I've been straight-up DITCHED by my exchange partner doesn't make this trip the best it could be.
