Central Florida here. I'm not too worried. We've got plenty of shit, and have always lived in a good area hurricane-wise. Though it is the biggest hurricane in years, I think it'll have calmed down relatively by the time it reaches here, as they tend to do. The baddest it's ever been here is power out for 2 days and unable to drive in roads due to flooding.
But yeah, imagine living in somewhere like Haiti, where every tropical storm and hurricane every year goes right through your living room. And earthquakes. What a geographically cursed place.
