You can set up a rom so that the pokemon are randomized. Anything from species, color palette, stats, moveset, abilities, and more can be randomized. You get stuff like this, and you can bet your bottom dollar that that Feraligatr knows something like Zap Cannon/Conversion/Metronome/Flatter and has Effect Spore as its ability.
