Did you read the rest of the shit that had to be removed? Somehow I doubt this was some oblique reference to the founding fathers being religious. I always hear shit about "bad things" in textbooks but never actually see those textbooks, so I'll reserve my judgement until I actually read what it says or I see a source that isn't Fox News's radical liberal cousin. And yes, I did read the shit that was removed. Does that not mean it was vetted and that at least a majority thought it was alright? Oh, some "scholars across the country" think differently, I'm sure.

It doesn't really sound that bad to me, despite Fox News altnet's best efforts to make it sound awful. Some of the Founders were religious people, and it's possible that their belief in a God influenced the writing of the Constitution. They certainly shouldn't focus on it but I don't see the great harm in saying that.

My dog died today. He looked really bad this morning, seemed to recover, and had a vet appointment at 4:30 PM. He died around 4:25. I feel like he hung on for so long just to spite me.

I tried SS13 with two friends once. One was experienced and the other was like me, having never played it before. I woke up this morning and tried to log in (I just logged out for the night). It was very slow and took like 30 seconds to change to my desktop, and then a minute to pull up Steam. Sure enough, fucking PAYDAY 2 was downloading a fucking update.

That's fucking awesome. Does he do requests? I don't know, it's just the little background music things between programs where the announcer says things like "This station is funded by x, (slogan here)," If I had to guess it's just one techie behind the scenes that gets the music. Good ol' Capital Public Radio.

I swear the guy that provides the music for my local NPR station is a huge vidya fan. I've heard background music from Battlefield Bad Company, Little Big Planet, and just today FTL.
