Darn, you're playing regular Silver Raz, right? I was gonna suggest Serene Grace Togekiss instead of Jigglypuff Give him Air Slash, and you're a crit machine. Also, I swapped my Charizard out for a Ninetales and evolved Skrelp into Dragalge. Very happy with both choices, Dragalge seems super slow but he fucking hits like a truck. Especially since mine's got Adaptability.

​Or you could teach a pokemon headbutt and repeatedly headbutt trees on Route 29 until you get a Heracross. Actually, you should just do that anyways cuz Heracross is fucking boss.

I just wish she had haste...I'm fine with the randomness of the reanimation, but goddamn-7 CMC for something that doesn't do shit when she hits the board. Far too expensive to be worth it as a commander, in my opinion.

FTV Angels actually looks pretty sick, I've been considering picking it up. Akroma's one of my favorite cards (both of them), and I actually need an Aurelia and Tariel for my Alesha deck. Avacyn's just icing on the cake.

​I remember one time I literally ran out of PP on Sand Attack just so I could make sure rollout wouldn't hit. Fuck Whitney's Miltank. Also, I just got a 3ds and Alpha Sapphire, this is the first time that I've been able to play the most recent Pokemon game since...Gold, I think. Holy crap, wonder trade is awesome. Right now my team is 5/6 from wonder trade, the 6th is my Sceptile that I started with. Besides him, I've got Skrelp, Shiftry, Lucario, Charmeleon and Skarmory. Pretty nice team, if I do say so myself. It's not competitive, but right now I'm still doing the story. It's fun. And good god I've missed the trumpets.

Yeah, apparently it won a pro tour or some tournament about a week ago, after someone forgot part of their deck and put in two Walkers to compensate. I guess they did fairly good?

Holy crap. I haven't looked at the prices for Origins singles yet, turns out every rare I've pulled so far is over $2. Goblin Piledriver, Managorger Hydra, Evolutionary Leap, Thopter Spy Network, Exquisite Firecraft, and fucking Hangarback Walker (this one really shocked me-nearly $20!). Like...for the most part I thought they were kinda junk rares, some a bit more interesting than others. Boy, was I wrong.

Finally got around to buying some Origins, pulled a Goblin Piledriver. Don't have to buy any more packs, I've got everything I wanted from this set.

So here's the final draft of my Jarad deck, it only cost about $25 to to complete. I'm actually kinda proud of this, it's got a lot of sac/recursion effects, and a lot of pumps and +1/+1 counters to create enormous guys for Jarad to throw. I'm happy with it.

I was so hoping River of Tears would've been made into a cycle during Theros. I think I actually called it before it came out here, but it didn't happen. Stupid scrylands.

Future Sight was such an awesome set. So many ridiculous cards from that set...Spellweaver Volute, Bitter Ordeal, Goyf...I'm still holding out hope that someday we get riggers.

UPDATE: I bought it. Couldn't not do it. Despite the fact that I haven't played since May and have no idea when I'll play next. Fuck it.

I'm trying to make a Jarad EDH deck, and it actually seems like I won't have to buy too much stuff for it. Except...this deck NEEDS a Lord of Extinction, and that's like a $15 card. But it's just sooooo goddamn good, I guess I'm just gonna go and get one anyways.

I definitely think it's dead. I didn't realize how many of us started playing in 2011 (Rynjin, I feel like I got the game like a week after you installed it on your PC, funnily enough) but even back then it just felt...I dunno, a little "off". Sure, the updates were still coming and it all seemed good, but the sheer amount of people who went "That game's still going?" when I told them I was playing TF2 was insane. I stopped playing probably around mid-2014 for good, but to be fair the last year and a half (at least) was on custom gamemodes. And I'm not sure how popular an opinion this is going to be, but I really think that the custom modes (surf, zombie fortress, vs Saxton Hale, etc) were really where the "true" magic of TF2 was, at least for me. Just the sheer diversity and creativity shown there was awesome, but it seems like those were the first to go. I logged back on a few weeks ago, and while there were still a few regular servers still populated in my favorites, nearly all of the custom ones were gone. Kinda sad, really. The game really feels like a shell of its former self, and not in a good way. Before I played TF2, I was BIG on multiplayer Star Wars Battlefront (the first one). Now, this game was D-E-D dead when I first restarted playing it, back in 2010. But there was still a small, very tight-knit community of probably a few hundred players who still played the game, right up until the servers got shut down for good. So while the game was dead to the world, the community was still thriving pretty well. You could go into a game and it'd feel like the old days, and be able to just...play the game. It's not really like that with TF2, it doesn't have that "I'm dead but I'm still kind of alive" feeling. No, it's just "I'm dead and it's starting to kinda smell a bit, could you open up a window?" I have no idea if this made sense at all or if it was just an insane ramble, but yeah-that's what I think about it.

​ Oh man, if it turns out Jaya's still alive I'll fucking shit a brick. She's hands-down my favorite Magic character.

So jealous...I found out the other day that my LGS closed in March, so even if I wanted to buy MMA packs there's literally nowhere nearby to do so. On the plus side, the other day I found a pack of 7th edition and Avacyn Restored at a Rite-Aid (American pharmacy/convenience store) for $3 each, opened a Harvester of Souls and a Counterspell, both of which I needed for my Marchesa EDH deck. That was nice.

Achievement unlocked-graduate university. Now what?
