I feel like our skill levels would be so radically different that it'd be silly. When I was playing with the MLM guys, I often felt like I had to be carried through each match (And I was carried and my skill ranking promptly rose)

I've had the game for less than 24 hours but I do love it. Have only managed to the second stage once, having beat the Wandering Vagrant.   Controls are solid and everything's just awesome. We need to organize a 4-man subSPUF game, assuming latency allows.

Yes, but Dota 2's HUD is supposed to have parity with Dota 1. People have tried modding out the bottom half of the HUD, only to find that the game engine literally doesn't render anything beneath the HUD. It's all black.   I just got used to it, but I like League's HUD better. It's all neatly tucked away, and you get more of the map to see.       I made a small guide thingy on how Dota 2's HUD is silly.

Dota 2's jungle is more confusing than League's, since trees can be cut down and such. It's also set up specifically to have tons of nooks and crannies to hide from any pursuers.

 

yeeee   If you wait for maybe 3-4 days, Diretide will come out. You know how Valve does halloween events - silly, not the least bit serious, yet a bit challenging. Also, just for playing, you get free hats. One per round, two if you win.   Lion's moveset actually works pretty nicely in it.
