Super fighting giant robot action mixed with wrasslin.

Apparently Capcom Snorted the burned Ashes of PT and Silent Hill and are making an honest to goodness Survival Horror again in the form of RE7: Biohazard. ...I think, it's hard to tell based off one trailer.

The Adventures of Admiral Doe (CYOA)
FreshHalibut replied to FreshHalibut's topic in The Drawing Board
Nope, No traps here. Although your Plush Stickybomb collection is coming along nicely. You can't get Ye Flask! The terrible powers within prevent you from doing so! Also you forgot where you put it, That Orange Juice has one heck of a kick! You decide to grab the DoePhone and check your messages, maybe give some of Jenkin's friends a call, maybe they've seen him around? With that in mind, you might be able to kill two birds with one stone, time to shop on Eboat and see what's available. Looks like a fixer upper, but maybe we can negotiate the price when we get down to the harbor. It's a bit smaller than the old boat, but with the right tools anything is possible. Pyro happens to be the heaviest thing in this room! This would be a great cover if ever we needed to infiltrate a Demopirate Stronghold, or a secret identity! You head east to make your way to the city to look for Jenkins and a new boat. Before you get under way however you are accosted by two medics, both of which offering to join you for reasons unspecified. Two's company but threes a crowd, it'd be nice to have help looking for Jenkins, but only one can join your party. What is your course of action? >____________ -

After playing a fair amount of overwatch, it's really fun. Somehow it's both familiar and refreshing, despite never playing the beta. I can see this becoming my new go to game. Hero Breakdown

You can get new powder rifles if you're that interested. Some of the newer ones are easier to clean because they break open iirc. Although I guess that defeats the point of a cool old musket at bargain prices. -

Have I ever mentioned how much I like the ZoE2 soundtrack. Taken too soon by a buggered up HD port that later got fixed on PS3 but not XB360 -
I ended up getting Overwatch anyway because some IRL buddies of mine ended up picking it up too. Add me on BottleNet I'm DoctorDakka#1284

Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle Good Stuff -
Star Fox Zero is really fun. Retreads a lot of SF64, but remixes it with some new stuff. Which is what they said they were doing from the word go. I'd say they did a good job re-imagining it without just copy pasting level design. Motion controls are mostly okay, they're not perfect, but if you've play Splatoon with motion controls you'll probably be okay. It's basically just for fine aiming, which feels really cool to use, but can be clunky at times. Probably not a game for everyone though, you can beat it in like 3 hours (like 64) So you're expected to replay it for branching paths, high scores, and medals (again, like 64) Also only one ending this time, which is fine I guess, but I wanted multiple/alternate final bosses.

Strike Up The Band: DeGroot's Summer Project

I would play as an "Axe" Barbarian. Although take care not to fall victim to scope creep. I think the idea is neat. -
You can be Saxton Hale

Xcom 2 comes out tomorrow, so it's time to ask Who wants to be killed by aliens! This thread will serve as a post-all for everyone's Xcom2 adventures and sign-ups for Spufcom. I promise I won't lose my savefile this time Resistance fighters who gave their life for the future of humanity

Man, The new recruits are really scraping the bottom of the barrel here. You can't really improve upon Guile's Hair. Although nobody's made a Guile voice pack yet, using lines from the terrible Street Fighter cartoon of course. Evac ~ "Just get on the plane" Alternatively, Moonbase Alpha Cube.

So now that I've finally cleared a Vanilla Xcom2 campaign, now I can go back and install ALL THE MODS. Campaign 2's Xcom is going to be a goddamn circus

Spufcom 2: Resistance Boogaloo (Mission Complete!)
FreshHalibut replied to FreshHalibut's topic in Digital Gaming
SPUFcom Update We did it boys! The Radio Tower With the Human populace saved from their Soylent fate and enraged at the Advent regime, SPUFcom siezed the opportunity and prepared an assault on the Alien Headquarters. The Final Assault With the alien base in ruins and hierarchy dead or dying, the only thing left for us was to go home as heroes, Mission Complete! The worldwide resistance quickly took care of the remaining Advent forces. With no way for them to call in reinforcements, it was only a matter of time until the last Ayy was kicked off this Earth and the party could begin. Fortunately, SPUFcom was prepared this time and had already liberated the celebratory drinks. Our team of mostly brave heroes can finally rest. Meet the members of SPUFcom! (And Death Report) And with that, the Tale of Spufcom is over, hey I actually finished this one!
