Is it actually active enough to warrant the purchase I want you to be right, understand that

Except for the whole pay-to-vote-on-maps thing. And the Lightning Gun nerf. And the loadouts having basically all weapons while they could've just met halfway to give new spawned players a chance in hell whilst still giving surviving players the advantage they deserve instead of dying to the guy who spawned behind you with a rocket launcher. And the servers are still kind of empty-ish even after the steam thing. Nevertheless who can come up with an arena shooter better than QL is right now
-
I tried Quake Live on steam and even though I was opposed to the changes at first I have to say it's now actually really good Someone play QL with me
-
I'm trying to get into CSGO but standing still to shoot just goes directly against all the muscle memory I've built up from playing arena shooters

harmonica-scene All the cute preteen girls get together and have a good ol' fashioned hootenany. But since they always end up hanging at least one black person they get censored most of the time

That's ok, I like the banlist discussion. If it were me, a lot of cards would be unbanned, if only to see what would happen. Also I think that my Boros reanimator deck might actually be viable

We've seen Jund with DRS but without BBE and it was miserable. T2 Liliana, endgame clock, lifegain to equal out bob, trades profitable with every removal spell, it is just way too good for modern. And it doesn't make Goyf any worse either; earlygame you only exile fetches anyways, and only later on when the graveyard is full with killed creatures and thoughtseized spells you start eating the other cards.
-
not even DRS was jund's problem, not BBE. Without DRS they won't even run the full playset of BBE, probably two, three at most

I guess pod ban was needed since it won everything forever, but I'd prefer if they had unbanned bloodbraid elf and ancestral visions to boost the decks that kill pod instead. Pod was a really interesting and skillful deck and there is really no way to build it now.

The funny thing about TC is that the larger the format is the more powerful TC becomes: it's already strong in standard but requires some buildaround, it's really powerful in modern, fitted perfectly in some already existing decks but imo wasn't dealbreaking, and in legacy it pushed delver strategies way over the top where it definitely should have been banned (I dont know much about vintage tbh) Also, I've been diddling around with gravetroll and came up with this: http://deckstats.net/deck-5756250-8916d60272596be73ed2809dd7748b76.html With RW you can make a super fast and consistent reanimator deck (almost guaranteed turn4), and it even leaves room for a splash (I chose green for loam but black for thoughtseize works just as well) To top it off you're in the right colors for Stony Silence to kill relic of progenitus

Banlist update just happened: Modern: -Treasure Cruise, Dig Through Time and Birthing Pod are banned -Golgari Grave-Troll is unbanned Legacy: -Treasure Cruise is banned -Worldgorger Dragon is unbanned Vintage: -Treasure Cruise is restricted -Gifts Ungiven is no longer restricted The Modern changes really suck massive balls. They just ended two decks, bringing UR delver back to its previous meh-ness and asking Pod players to either buy into Junk or getting the fuck out, and Gravetroll adds nothing. Dig Through Time ban is just wsdfwblsgr At least the Legacy changes make sense, UR Delver was an actual problem there instead of just an overhyped fad that didn't bring any proper tournament results, and Worldgorger Dragon brings a possible combo deck back, but I doubt it'll actually do anything considering Griselbrand essentially does the same thing but better

Japanese is such a pleasant language to listen to It's almost exclusively consonant-vowel-consonant-vowel and that strange "r" sound it has, it just flows so nicely

Sonic Boom run ended, was pretty fun if only to see how atrocious the game is Apparently Arin actually used a huge game skip glitch (~4 hours) by chance

I've gotten kind of back into minecraft and wanted to build a giant tree with a big treehouse in it. My two original tries looked like complete shit so I googled "minecraft giant tree tutorial", found a video tutorial and right before I clicked thought "man I really hope this guy's voice isn't too nasally"

To any WiiU owner who has never played these - get it. All three games are phenomenal and I still consider Metroid Prime 1 to be the best game of all time

I actually have no edh decks with infinite combos in them since our group banned them for being unfun (and I agree). But I do always end up having to nerf my initial builds because even in goldfish playtesting they end up super oppressive Most of them involve Omniscience or Mindslaver effects. On that subject we totally need more mindslaver effects

I hate how 13 year old memelords took over >implications because it was such an efficient way to tell a story
-
I built a karador edh deck and it accidentally went infinite in like five different ways it is a curse I tell you

What How

By now they could just as well move all the tiers one down, making Uber the new OU, and MegaRay the only Uber like Mewtwo in the good ol' fashioned day of RBY
-
I wouldn't say "counter" but the Flare Gun is probably one of the better weapons to kill a heavy from a safe distance It was easy to kill heavies as pyro before they fucked with the axtinguisher. Still one of the weirdest changes they made. Especially since the Powerjack was (and still is) much better than pre-nerf axtinguisher

They can't respond to removal with a pod sac, pod only works at sorcery speed. If someone did that against you (s)he was cheating Pod is really hard to sideboard against, since the deck is still very powerful without pod and boarding in artifact hate can make you draw dead cards pretty fast. Torpor Orb is what they call a "Null Rod" card in magic because of its flavour text: Playing Torpor Orb doesn't influence the board, and if you draw it turn 4 or 5 it does nothing. The question you want to ask yourself is whether having it out on turn 2 or 3 is powerful enough to be willing to have the chance of getting a dead draw later in the game. Whether that is true or not probably depends on how many Abrupt Decays they run.
