I love how he stops moving for a while unable to believe his own luck

I guess it's fair Krampus' Head and Dark Bum got a nerf but it's still a pity.

Scry 3 every turn is incredibly powerful, and the discard effect means you can give it hexproof at instant speed. Evasion, difficult to remove and card selection is everything you could want in a blue bomb (although last season's Aetherling was superior)

stamda confirmed for qtpie

I'd probably go for something burn-ish, lots of card selection means you can more easily dig for the burn you need. You can't really build a deck on scry alone I think, there just aren't enough cards for that in standard. You definitely want a playset of Magma Jet. Lightning Strike, Stoke the Flames, maybe Shock? I'd definitely try and exploit the graveyard a bit, either with Treasure Cruise or Spellheart Chimera. Prognostic Sphinx is really good, I'd get two or three of those. the problem is mostly good creatures, since WotC likes to make good creatures rare or mythic thanks to NWO. Omenspeaker is great though, giving scry with an on-curve body. Monastery Swiftspear is great if you run a lot of cheap spells. there are of course the generally goodstuff red creatures like Goblin Rabblemaster and Stormbreath Dragon but those are expensive. Might you get your hands on one of them however, definitely put them in. EDIT: here's a setup I just made. See if you like it; it ended up being VERY burny, so maybe you do want to go Temur and slow the deck down a bit http://deckstats.net/deck-5482989-85c788ffe3fff20f89c083f4cd4e8795.html

That would mean they crammed it out within a month- oh.

I was talking to stamda about this; the duck thing seems so incredibly out of place. Not only is it so bad that the update would've actually been better by removing it entirely (even LESS content) but it really didn't have anything to do with the video. The ducks in the EotL video seemed really crammed in, like Valve said to them "put in a scene with rubber ducks. Don't ask why, just do it". I've always been a bit sceptical on the "valve uses tf2 for experimenting" thing but there seems to be no other possible reason than that. "Are people willing to pay money for nothing but e-penis?"

That sums it up pretty well

I'll also post a decklist of my own I've been working on, need to bounce some ideas. It's a Modern UW Merfolk list http://deckstats.net/deck-5475193-66e50c0a8cc5d8aba848119e9b4cfd66.html The idea behind it is that right now, a lot of the decks to beat are instant and sorcry based blue decks: UR Delver Burn (with a blue splash for Treasure Cruise) Scapeshift UWr midrange/control Splinter Twin With the non-spell based decks to beat being Pod BGx affinity (and apparently GRtron but I have no idea why in the world you'd want to play tron in this meta) With so many blue burn-esque decks, Thalia and Sejiri Merfolk are incredibly brutal. Add to that a very aggro plan (29 creatures instead of the usual 25) and it can severely pressure and outrage these decks. The downside is that with UW I can't run tectonic edge, which I;d really like to have, and all my disruption has to be at 1 mana because of Thalia, which stops me from using Chalice of the Void. I'm also in danger of scooping to Blood Moon, but with Aether Vial and 5 basics that's not too much of a problem. I'm still on the fence about the sideboard, 4 Spreading Seas in the side is just gross but it's a necessity against Pod. I'm also not sure whether Rest in Peace is needed, since it's probably not worth boarding in against the delving decks but just shrinking Tarmogoyf might be worth it. I might move all paths mainboard and run two Dismember in the side since bounce is incredibly bad versus twin, but then my affinity matchup gets worse and Path nonbos with Thalia. I'm also thinking about cutting a land and a Master of Waves, preferably for a 3-drop, but I have no idea which one; Reejerey seems really bad with all this burn, I can't really run more Kiras... Vendilion Clique has the possibly of being fantastic but I just can't afford the bastard.

Finally got around to looking at this properly #1 problem in gold letters is you have way too few lands. With your curve ending at 6, you want 23 lands at the very least; I'd run 25 myself, especially since every scryland you run makes all other lands better since you can push them if needed. Second, you want more scrylands. Your deck is built around it, as it gives a free way to trigger Flamespeaker Adept. If they are too expensive to get, you still need more fix to support a tri-color deck efficiently. Definitely get four of the Temur trilands, and some of the gain 1 life dual lands if scrylands are too expensive. Third, you have very little real removal. Get some burn; the fourth Magma Jet is a must in this deck, and some Stoke the Flames or Lightning Strikes aren't bad either. You could also get some bearpunches but I hate fight for removal myself. Voyages End is alright but keep in mind bounce is always card disadvantage and thus only good for tempo, while you're also running a lot of endgame fats. Fourth, you have a lot of cards that are just bad, like Sigiled Starfish and Temur Ascendancy. One-ofs are generally a bad idea, especially since a lot of them seem rather random. Remove most of your one-ofs (except Prognostic Sphinx, that card is actually REALLY good) and get all four of the Rattleclaw Mystics. Finally, this is more an advice for future decks than for this one, since I don't think you'll be willing to change your deck this drastically: green has no purpose in this deck altogether. If you want to build a scry deck, it's much more beneficial to just go UR so you have a high consistency and can run fewer lands, and UR has by far the best scry cards. Right now you're a bit in the middle starting off with a tempo deck that suddenly tries to switch to ramp midgame with bombs like Sagu Mauler, and you'll often end up with big green fatties uselessly sitting in your hand earlygame or tiny red and blue spells being irrelevant lategame. If you build a deck, try to first come up with a strategy of what you want to do, then start putting the cards together. Looking at the list it seems you wanted to make a Temur deck since you like Temur and then halfway through building thought "oh, I could make a scry deck!". /opinions

Wasn't it already confirmed EotL would just be the video and not much else? I never really cared for it to begin with

I kind of wish all "defeat set boss x with y" had achievements Killing Mega Satan with Judas and getting nothing for it was kind of a buzzkill

KLK had a really strong start but just gradually gets a little bit worse with every episode and the second season is a chore. The only reason I finished it was Satsuki

Guess I'll post this here but I kind of wanted to talk about this puzzle thing in sonic boom starting at 7:30 (right after Dan asks for gay sex with the new editor) But that would actually be a really damn cool puzzle if it had been done competently. However the devs for some reason removed the puzzle element by not making you able to touch the wrong tile (7:50) and had bothered to actually make the lasers lasers instead of just red bars stopping in the middle of the room (10:20) Insert grumbling about how the grumps could've caught up on that if they had been paying attention instead of making gay jokes but that's not really my point

gibe decklist, maybe we can give advice

Honestly game grumps would still be crappy right now if Jon never left. In the later Jongrumps episodes they were already severely losing their spark, there is only so much you can bullshit about while playing video games before you run out of ideas. The first few months with Dan were some of the best grump episodes ever, mostly when they're just talking about Dan's stoner past. Now they've run out of stories however and, as much as I loathe this argument, Dan isn't really a gamer; he played games when he was still young, but you never see him really get excited about any of the new games they play, it's always this played "oh that's kind of nice". Arin has just grown lazy, with good reason; he made a ton of money with a super simple formula, married his ayylmao girlfriend and now he can do whatever the fuck he likes as long as he plays video games for ~2 hours once every week. It just feels really formulated and passionless. In a perfect world, Jon and Arin had finished Sonic 06, taken a hiatus from game grumps for a year or so, and then brought it back once the formula was fresh again, with some co-starring of Dan's stoner stories (imagine Dan's stories with Jon's responses).
