You're goddamn right.

Were you at least playing good VNs?

If you concentrate real hard as you fall asleep you can enter super sleep mode and get about 5 hours worth of rest. Or just stay up and push on through the night. Bury your pain, maybe drink a cup of coffee or some Mountain Dew, and go to your lecture, then go home and crash ASAP. I think I'm gonna go for a run at 6AM, binge on yoghurt/fruit for breakfast and bring coffee to the lecture. The problem isn't surviving the lecture, the problem is staying awake during the afternoon.

It's almost 5AM. I have a lecture at 8:15AM. I've been sitting up all night watching anime and playing visual novels. Help.

I think the idea of making the moderator appointment more of a "public" affair is an interesting one, but I certainly also feel that this whole process is a bit unfocused to say the least. You've got people who is nominating "everyone" (I guess for the sake of not stepping on toes? Or a lack of interest maybe), you've got people who have no interest in being a moderator getting nominated and like Raz said, it feels more like a popularity contest than anything. I don't quite understand what the purpose of the whole "Moderator application" thing was, when it amounted to this in the end. I also fail to understand why the current administration team are disallowed their own nominees. I can only draw experience from the previous forum I used to admin, but back there, it was mainly the administrators who were consulted when it came to appointing new mods. The reason being that the administrators had a way better overview of the entire situation. I don't know what kind of permissions Binary and Rammite have here on Spufpowered, but I am going to go ahead and assume that they have full access to both modCP and adminCP and probably also the Report Center. Going on this assumption, wouldn't they be the most "qualified" to help in appointing new mods? Hush hush. There are more things I could say, but I think I'm going to stop here. As for the people I would like to see as mod(s): Guy923, Huff, Rynjin, Raz EDIT: After re-reading Raz' post on page two, I couldn't help myself. Sorry

Black Lagoon is excellent.

Carl Gustav annoyed me. Thank god that ridiculous splash damage got reduced to be more reasonable. You literally had entire servers running around firing missiles at Infantry rather than vehicles. BC2 had quite a few broken weapons at launch actually. CG, M60, AN-94, VSS Snaiperskaya off the top of my head. It was still a really fun game though, I think I put nearly 300 hours into the Multiplayer and gold-star'd every single weapon bar landmines or something.

Taking a trip down memory lane, I found myself listening to the Battlefield 1942 Theme earlier this morning, as it is, and probably always will be, one of my most cherished game soundtracks of all time. Out of curiousity I decided to look up the themes for the Battlefields following it, as it has become tradition for Dice to incorporate the original 1942 into the newer themes. It's an interesting progression. The original track is the best by a long shot, my runner-ups have to be the two Bad Company ones and being the dirty jaded person I am, I feel like I have to say that the BF3+BF4 themes are pretty bad. Battlefield 1942 Battlefield 2 Battlefield 2142 Battlefield Bad Company Battlefield 1943 Battlefield Bad Company 2 Battlefield 3 Battlefield 4

I'm not gonna lie dude, if he's anything like me, he's probably not gonna give two shits. Several people tried to explain to me that anime was more than people with freakishly large eyes and hentai (Which was my perception of anime until February 2013) and several people tried showing me parts of the more popular anime to change my opinion. I couldn't care less at the time. Oh shit I just realized that's how Silent was about Dota until you convinced him to play a game. Yep.

I actually feel really fucking bad about it. I legit used to bully people who watched anime, both online and in real life... Well, I say bully, maybe not quite that, but I had a pretty foul mouth regarding the subject. Now look at me.

Haven't gone to anything anime related ever.

Well it's one movie to begin with here with Rebellion, so you'd probably only need to set aside a couple of hours, max.

Discuss "Free 2 Play" in here, what with it just being released. What a nice watch. Fear had his wish, Hyhy got the girl and Dendi won the million. GG. Best scene

I'm honestly reaaaally surprised I haven't ran into spoilers. The only thing I know is that apparently Homu did either nothing or everything wrong. Depends on who you are. I'd say we should all watch it together, but I have no idea how timezones would factor into that. I'd be up for that, if we could work time schedules out. I'm already watching it with 3 different parties (2 seperate sets of RL friends and 1 online friend), so why not add another watching. I'd be down for streaming it, but I can't assure the stream quality all the way through. The only other way I can think of is if the interested people all download the same BD rip of Rebellion and we just do a kinda "3-2-1 Go!" sync viewing of it.

Probably, but the Blu-Rays aren't out yet, which I (And several people I know) are waiting for. I think they're supposed to be out soon though, like within a month or something. Thank god I've managed to avoid spoilers. I can't fucking wait.

Stay on target boys, I've been enjoying this read so far.

Real talk, is the Yu Gi Oh TV series actually something worth watching? I'm going to sound condenscending here, but the truth of the matter is that I always dismissed that as a cheesy kids show, which was just made to promote the cards etc.

Eh, if you say so. The thing about Death Note, is that I was having real trouble getting on with it, even when I liked it. I would binge 5-6 episodes in one sitting and say to myself "Man, this is pretty enjoyable!", but then it would be weeks between my next watching session. Now I don't even find it enjoyable when I DO getting around to watching it. It's hard. I kinda just want to forget about Near and Mello and go watch Haruhi.

What a sad day boys. I just "finished" Death Note... I ended up dropping it at 29/37, which is basically a first for me. I'm not gonna go too much into detail on this one. I will say this though: When people warned me that the series kind of fell apart after a certain big plot point comes along, I can now say, that I agree with them. I liked the anime quite a lot up until that point, but following that it became hard for me to watch, as it felt contrived and very poorly executed. Actual Death Note spoilers in spoilerbox
