1) Wasteland works exactly like a tabletop RPG except that it automates all the rolls. Even then there are critical failures if I remember correctly. 2) Wallbanging and armor piercing rounds 3) AI can actually into strategy

Later on, possibly. Right now, I'm fucking scrounging for cash because of this "you need the skill points AND the money for this skill" thing. It hardly seems like a waste to me at this point. Maybe later when money becomes "useless", sure, I'll trade that in for something more practical, but I took the skill for the same reason as getting more XP from heists - efficiency. Also money being "useless later on" doesn't sound very good to me. I thought the whole point of the game was to make money... No, the point of the game was to farm Rats and Firestarter over and over again. Just like how the point of the original game was to farm Overdrill over and over again

Everyone knows See You At the Safe House is the best victory theme. Maybe not so much Busted because they took it from the OST, meaning that there's that gap of either dialogue or nothing at all.

I want it pretty badly. I think you'd probably like it. I just got back home so I'm about to play it for the first time but I've heard great things about it. Wasteland is obligatory material that any Fallout fan should play. They make a lot of throwbacks to it in the Interplay originals and NV. Fallout itself as a series was basically supposed to be a spiritual successor to Wasteland.
